What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: This unit does appear to actually terminate unlike many chargers available that float/trickle charge. The flip up tabs for RCR123 size cells are designed well, easy to flip up and load cells.
Cons: Charge rate is below advertised 300mA. I measured 250mA per channel.
Painfully slow charging rate for large cells.
Charge voltage rises far above termination voltage.
Charge rate only ramps down slightly towards the end of the charge while charge voltage continues to climb above 4.25V.
Charge termination occurred with the cell charged to 4.25V, this is higher than I would recommend for cell cycle life and safety. On smaller cells, charge voltage (not talking about state of charge here) can reach 4.35V and higher (it is not out of the question for the charge to be terminated by the PCB in smaller cells on this charger).
Springs are flimsy, makes loading cells and keeping the springs straight difficult.
Other: Use a DMM to see if yours has acceptable termination voltages. Good luck with the springs for long cells.

Pros: I have two of these chargers. I have a number of flashlights and both 18650 and 16340 batteries. This charger has two independent charging channels unlike oher li-ion chargers thst charge two batteries in parallel. it seems to stop charging once a battery is fully charged (4.17v) rather than continuing to trickle charge like cheaper chargers, this is a good safty feature. The pull up connections for 14360 cells are easy to use and make the charger very versitile.
Cons: a bit slow charging large cells. More expensive than some other chargers.
Other: It is well worth paying the little bit extra for this charger.
