What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: This is a great overall light, bright enough for most tasks, simple to use, and batteries lasts a long time. Like all Romisen lights, the build quality is better than most of the budget lights and overall usability and durability is great. Granted, it may not be the brightest light but the run time on a set of AA's is very impressive for such a cheap light.
Cons: Threads could be cleaner/smoother. Clicky feels a bit cheap.
Other: Buy this light if you need a cheap light you can toss around and if runtime and usability are more important for your needs than a super torch. If you can afford a little more $$ and don't mind multiple modes, get a 5-mode Ultrafire C3.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: A great versatile light:
1) uses 2 different type batteries with 3 different configurations
2) uses a cree LED (although unknown bin)
3) bright (see below for battery - light section)
Cons: reverse clickie (full click to turn on/off, no momentary mode when the light is off)
I have a few other Romisen lights that are forward clickie, thought this might be the same, but it's not.
Other: If you have 14550 (AA size Li-ion) and RCR123, and KNOWS how to use them SAFELY, this is a great light to have in the 1-cell format.
CR123 will work in this light and provides bright output.
using NIMH rechargeable and alkaline in the 2-cell form will give you the same brightness but longer running time.
1 cell with alkaline or nimh rechargeable should be a last resort with this light, it's made for 3.0V input so the brightness suffers on this level of input.

Pros: It's a really really bright light,
uses AA and CR123 batteries
Looks really well constructed.
===================================
You can use 1 AA or 2 AA batteries, people get really really surprised when I show this.
Cons: No cons, it's a nice flashlight
===================================
Other: It's a little expensive than the others lights in the site but really worth it!!!!

Pros: + Great versatility to be powered up (it really works with 1xAA 2xAA and 1xCR123A)
+ Pocket size with 1xCR123A (powerful) or 1xAA (a little dim with this)
+ Lubed quality threads
+ Well balanced
+ Nice spot, not too tight not too wide
+ Clip to attach it to a pocket and avoid rolling
+ Tail clicky switch (reverse)
Cons: - Not aluminium anodized (scratches can be easily done)
- O-rings very thin (not expected to last)
- Not o-ring at the lens
- Batteries rattle a little if you shake the torch
Other: For the price this is one of the best torches you can get at DX. I got also the black model and it's the same quality/features.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: * It uses 14500 Batteries (1x)
* It uses AA batteries (1x or 2x)
* It uses 16340 batteries (1x)
* It's bright, but not so bright it chews through the battery in no time flat
Cons: * If you are using the 2xAA battery extension, the second battery doesn't seem like it would be that secure, but it's held in pretty well.
* A High/Low mode would make this a ridiculously versatile little flashlight.
Other: Great for throwing a 14500 battery in and sticking it in your glove box, it will be there, ready when you need it. And when the 14500 dies, replacement batteries are everywhere.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small size - great for emergency light while traveling/camping
Can use CR123 lithium battery for maximum brightness
Can also use AA battery, available *everywhere*, when CR123 happens to run out of power.
Cons: Case not anodized - scratches easily
Other: I purchased only one of these. After using it, I'm back for more. Great value.
