Pros: I am a victim of the dealextreme flashlight addiction. Started off with the $5 single aa led's and was truly impressed. This light was recommended on an Australian forum (Whirlpool) and is amazingly bright for an aa torch. Excellent throw with tight spot, and useful spill. Top class build quality, with all o rings well lubed.
Cons: Non. Can't comment on run time.
Other: Amazing buy
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good build quality, all threads were smooth unlike some other lights I have purchase from here.
Bright light in both modes
Looks and feels great.
Cons: Would like scallop area to run a little deeper (it is about 3mm).
Other: Satisfying purchase
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Versatility- Uses 2 AA's (pretty bright), 1 cr123 (brighter) and I even put a 3.6 Rcr123 in for several seconds just to test it and what a scorcher!! I'm not sure if this 3.6 RCR is recommended for it but it was bright! Brighter than my Fenix P1 even. The brightness is almost equal to the Romisen RC-F4 which takes 2 cr123's. But I was afraid to run it for very long with the 3.6 RCR. Very good built quality with all o-rings present and smooth threads. Good work Romisen!
Cons: Can't think of one.
Other: Excellent versatile light, BUY ONE, You will love it!! By the way- Go ahead and get the express mail- I think I paid a few more bucks for it but it arrived in 10 days!! Well, most of my order anyway, still waiting for 2 out of 12 products that I ordered.

Pros: Excellent machining, on a par with the likes of fenix.
Aluminium reflector, glass lens.
Nothing glued.
GITD forward clicky.
Runs fine on 3.6v, in fact its very bright.
Emitter has no over spray (silver core) and looks brighter when compared to other P4's, in fact I think this is a better bin than P4.
Cons: Ugly green tint on mine, but you take your chances.
High/low would be nice.
Other: Great light if you need something that takes 123A's but probably doesn't offer as much value when compared to the other romisen lights

Pros: Nice, flexible flashlight. Uses either 2xAA or 1xCR123 batteries. Has good light output, but it was purchased for modifying. I think it has a P2 emitter installed in the flashlight, and it has a yellow tint to it. I replaced the emitter with a Q5 and replaced the driver with a SKU=7880 driver. Even with 2xAA NiMH batteries, it puts out a lot of nice white light.
Cons: The emitter is epoxied to the pill, which can make it difficult to replace.
Other: None

Pros: This flashlight satisfied my flashlight fetish. All I've had before is another popular brand of flashlights and cheap LED's. This is brighter than all of them, and smaller. Conversion from CR123 to 2 AA is also very cool. I put a spot of light on the wall with this flashlight side by side with a 2 AA flashlight and it makes it seem like the other one isn't even on. I also prefer clicker on-off switches as opposed to twisting for easier one-hand operation.
Cons: The belt clip is so tight that it's very difficult to clip it onto anything a little thicker. Glowing endcap switch button is cool, although unlikely to be charged by the flashlight itself.
Other: Awesome flashlight.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This light is probably appreciated more for advanced flashlight users since it has the dual advantage of 2xAA or 1c123a battery. The build quality is excellent and the value of getting a versatile light like this is well worth it.
Cons: None really.
Other: Buy it for a collectors item. It will be a classic.

Pros: *Great machining and anodising. Has o-rings throughout, even on front lens and extension tube.
*Bright with great flood and throw (though slightly less brightness and throw compared to by RC-F4)
*Can be used as a 1xRCR123A or a 2xAA torch. Runs fine on 1 x Trustfire RCR123A (sku.8683). Great if you run out of CR123As as you can just attach the extension tube and run it on AAs.
*Very solid feel when in 2xAA form, and excellent compact size when in 1xRCR123A form.
*Comes with handstrap and removeable pocket clip. Also has GITD forward click which is excellent!
Cons: *Anodising has come off very slightly where the pocketclip contacts with the torch body. Not a major issue as I prefer to have the pocketclip removed, although I wouldn't recommend putting the torch in the same pocket as your keys!
*Brightness is very slightly lower on 2xAA, although the flexibility in choice of power source makes up for it.
*O-rings not of the best quality. Probably a good idea to replace the stock ones with your own.
Other: Fantabulous torch! It's one of my favourite torches especially when in 1xRCR123A form. :D

Pros: This is a great light and I'm very happy with the purchase.
- solid feel and rugged design
- good build quality
- excellent brightness
- uses 2xAA but can also be converted to use 1xCR123A (by removing the middle extension tube)
Cons: - only one brightness level (not a huge issue for me)
Other: This flashlight beats my old trusty AA Maglite hands down on brightness. I replaced my Maglite bulb with a 3-LED version, but the brightness of the this light (single LED) is still better. I cannot comment on battery life yet.
Build quality is comparable with the Maglite. The light has a nice substantial feel - it's a decent piece of metal.
I'm buying one more RC-N3 as a present for my dad.

Pros: Wow! Where else can u get Cree emitter (P4?) with up to a possible 100 lumens, extension tube to accept two different battery formats, GITD forward clicking tactical switch, tactical head, glass lens, aluminum reflector, metal clip, good anodizing, all for just under 19 bucks?
Cons: The threads were a bit rough and dry. The tolerances could be closer to eliminate squeaks when twisting off extension and changing batteries. The o-rings were not of great quality. They look like thin rubber. The o-ring on module connecting to battery case was chewed up by threads. The metal clip is a bit cheap and water or sand can get in where it attaches to the light, so water tightness might be an issue. In 2xAA form, the batteries rattle around a bit, but not in cr123a form.
Other: Pretty solid package for the money. Great as a CR123A light or 2xAA light, so buy two of them. OR, buy five of them and irritate your friend with the hundred dollar flashlight.
