Romisen MXDL RC-G2 Cree Flashlight Black (1xAA)

Pros: - excellent build quality, flawless finish. In fact, this light feels a lot like flashlights 5 or 6 times the price. - o-rings do their job - forward clicky switch feels solid - very smooth, solid threads, work fine even without lube. - lots of throw ( mine came with a smooth reflector )

Cons: - Smooth reflector instead of OP - no problem for me, in fact I prefer throw over beam uniformity - lots of nasty rings in the spillbeam... Smooth reflector gives great throw, but nasty spillbeam :-)

Other: That´s an incredibly inexpensive thrower. It has a serious feel of "quality". You like throw and can live with artifacts in your spillbeam? Buy it! :-)

Pros: -Incredibly focused throw and bright hotspot -Build quality is amazing for this price: smooth threads, weighty feel -Uses easy to find AA battery, compatible with NiMH

Cons: -shape looks funky, but makes it easier to hold

Other: The real $10 Cree is right here. Amazing flashlight for this price. I'm surprised it's not more popular.

Pros: Same high quality as my grey one. Best AA torch i have. Runs cool, for a long time.After 3 hours, you still have enough light to find another battery. No glue, everything comes apart. AA battery. Put in spa for 30 mins at 1m depth, no leaks.

Cons: Small wrist strap.

Other: Great throw, bright, VERY high quality for a small price.

Pros: Very bright light when compared to other lights I have this size. The Minimag(2AA) upgraded with the Terralux MiniStar 2 and new batteries looks very dim next to this light. The fit and finish looks great, all threads and the lens has O rings, nothing glued, and I really like the one handed tailcap switch. This is the black version with what I would call a OP reflector. It definitely does not have a smooth, slick finish like the reflectors on my other lights. It is a very deep reflector with a tight hot spot and a wide, useable spill.

Cons: This light has very good throw but I would like a brighter spill at the cost of throw. At a distance of 20 feet the hot spot is approximately 20 inches wide and spill is about 18 feet wide. Not really a con as I have hiked many miles through rough terrain at night with worse(Impact II).

Other: This is my first anything from DX. Nice light, especially at this price. I would buy again based on my first impression.

Pros: Great clicky, good build quality, good throw, small enough

Cons: Average price, some may not like the yellowish beam, big(ger) head

Other: I would rather have a compact torch without the enlarged head to carry around in my pocket, but this is a great torch still. For the $10 you would spend on an AA torch in the supermarket, this torch will blow the other one away in terms of quality, size and brightness.

Pros: Nice size, very bright off 1 AA, good throw and spot, decent strap.

Cons: Faded out once during normal operation, and I could not get it to turn back on. Later, it faded back in while in my pocket.

Other: Nice look, feel, throw.

I have ordered many flashlights from DX and this definitely gives the most bang for the buck.

Pros: Great build quality. Very bright, compared to it's size. Very small so you can allways have it with you. Takes 1 AA battery, which is great. I hade it with me in the tub for 30 min, no problems with water what so ever.
The light is focused and you can see the beam upto 50M.
Clicky is great, you can push it halfway and the light will turn on.
Glaslens and aluminum reflector.

Cons: None

Other: If you need a small flashlight that can actually provide enough light to be usefull this is it. I cant find one thing that is bad with this one.

Pros: very solid and feels nice to hold compact i like the orange tailcap very bright looks awesome

Other: my first cree flashlight, as i have nothing to compare to i cannot comment on how bright it actually is....but for my standards, its really bright, a very great buy!!! lights up my whole backyard at night.
i think my flashlight has a textured reflector, i really wanted a smooth reflector, but its still good
