Pros: Focusable beam; 3 useful modes, electronic voltage regulation; Can use AA batteries, NiMH and Alkaline; Convenient size; Tailstand;
Cons: No "half-press" functionality on the switch - to change modes you must click the switch off and then click it on again. Larger than 16340 lights.
Other: If the size and battery choice suits you - this light is all you have been waiting for. If they make a light like this in a 16340 size, with this LED and regulation hardware, it will be the perfect pocket light for me. For now this one does the job better than anything else I've seen.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: When it arrived, I was surprised by how small it actually was. When zoomed all of the way out, it is the same size as my romisen rc-g2's. When zoomed in, it is quite a bit shorter! The amount of light put out is awesome for such a small package. When running with a 14500, it is much more impressive. This is my first flood-throw light, and well, I am loving it. It will make a great EDC, because functionality of having the flood to throw is top notch, and the light is very small. The build quality is fantastic, lubed threads, o-rings etc. as all of my romisen lights have been. Tailstand is perfect.
Cons: The twisting action required to go from flood to throw requires a bit more effort compared to a 'push-pull' type zoom light.
Other: This light with the 14500 capability makes this light hands down an awesome purchase.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -It's small -Feels sturdy -Produces a lot of light (only tested it with 14500 battery) -It's very versatile, because of the zoom, you can light up a whole wall or room, but also change it to a narrow beam that goes a very long way. -it has a 'low' setting! (you don't always need 100% brightness)
Cons: -It doesn't remember what mode it was last in, so you'll need to click 3 times, to turn it in the same mode it was in when you last used it.
Other: I really recommend this flashlight. It is small enough to take it everywhere you go. And because of the two brightness settings and the zoom function, you can use it for everything. So it's a very versatile light and I am very happy I bought it!

Pros: The first thing I noticed about this light when I took it out of the packaging was the amazing quality of the fit and finish. Everything about it is impeccable, from quality of the anodized coating to the wonderful fit of every piece. The threads are the smoothest, best machined threads I've ever seen on any of my torches. There was no grease on any of the threads but they screw down like butter without any squeaks or traces of roughness. Inside and out you can tell the quality. It's my first Romisen but if all their torches are made like this any of them are a safe bet. The light from it is as bright or brighter than my X2000. I haven't run it from an alkaline AA as I only use 14500's in my torches of this size but I can tell you it's bright as hell. Modes work well but there is no mode memory (100%-50% & Strobe). Switch is a forward-clicky and appears to be of good quality. It allows you to partially depress the switch until you find the mode you want. Once you are in that mode a full press locks it in.
Cons: My biggest complaint about this light is also one of the things that makes it so unique looking - the tail piece. While great for stability when standing it up for candle mode, it absolutely SUCKS for carrying it in your pocket. It will tear up your pocket and your pants in no time as well as being very uncomfortable. It's great for throwing in a bag or wearing in an oversized holster. While it fits into the holster of my X2000, it's just a touch longer and the velcro on the flap doesn't completely cover itself. In full or partial flood mode you can see the infamous Cree ring. This is the first zoom-to-flood I've owned (I have quite a few) where you could see the Cree ring. The flood could be a bit wider, too, but when focused it's quite excellent. I have experienced a bit of an issue on occasion where it won't turn on for me. A twist of the threads brings it back. I suspect that I need to properly grease them and check for conductivity between the sections.
Other: If you like zoomers then you owe it to yourself to get this one! It's a practical light as long as you don't carry it in your pocket.

Pros: The first thing you notice is the build quality, its very well made. I used a AA battery and its quite bright, But when i used a trustfire 14500 rechargeable battery it was very bright and it was up with my lenser T7 I bought a charger and 14500 batterys for it
Cons: The only thing about the torch i dont like is the tail piece which is a little sharp you could file down the edge.
Other: this torch is small and powerfull, i use it beside my bed and its zoom function is very usefull and i am very pleased with it.

Pros: It is a great flashlight overall.
Build quality is excellent, able to use regular AA batteries or 14500 (which is a plus if one ever runs out of juice on the 14500, they can always throw some Alkaline in for backup).
The tailcap is designed so that it is able to tailstand with ease in a stable manner.
Cons: The zooming process is very tiresome and annoying as it takes roughly 3 full turns of the head to go from normal to full zoom, and vice versa. Not very convenient for a quick back and full, (trust me it feels like an eternity).
Other: Price can be lower. Sku.39585 is much better and cheaper.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Manufacturing quality is awesome. Looks much more expensive.
-Threads well greased
-No half click functionallity (i thought it was a con, but after having issues while using flashlight as bike light, i prefer this setting)
-tailstand
Cons: The only con so far, is the fact that it doesn't fit on sku.29354. I'll have to look for a good holster
Other: This could be a little cheaper, that way it would be the most selled EDC flashlight here.
Absolutely recommended flashlight, the focus functionality is very useful for use at short or large distances.

Pros: I like this flashlight very much. The zoom function makes it much more usable than all other led lights I've used. I also like that it takes AA batteries, I only got two 14500s so if I'm going camping for an extended time I can just bring along a pack of AAs for when the 14500s are empty. Flood gives a very even and wide light witch is good for hiking in the dark. The throw setting gives a quite concentrated spot for lighting up things far away. I does get warm very fast, but even after an hour at max it didn't get any warmer so I call it a hand warmer feature. Orange ring around the lens makes the flashlight easier to find compared to a pure black one.
Cons: Although I love the size of this I do wish it was straighter, but that is only a personal preference.
As seen on the pictures it does have glaring in form of a ring outside the focus point witch is esthetically unpleasing.
You change modes by turning the light off and on again, but the time you can have it off and it still changes mode is very long. If I use the light it high then turn it off for a while it will turn on again in low.
Other: You won't regret buying this, at least I didn't.

Pros: This flashlight is spectacular and extremely powerful for its size. The lens on this flashlight makes it unique from other led flashlights in that you can focus the beam from wide to light up a whole room to a tiny little beam that is extremely powerful and has astounding range for something that only runs on a single AA battery. I bought two and my father immediately stole one from me because he was jealous. If you are on deal xtreme looking for a simple , powerful , small flashlight that can do multiple tasks this is easily the best one you can get.
Cons: no cons , this is an exceptional product and i can see absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Other: If you are going to buy this flashlight , i recommend getting 3 because if you get one you will immediately order another one and after you get that one you will want another.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Twist to zoom is tight and should hold zoom level in pocket. allows 14500 battery but AA works well. tight solid quality feel. nice high tech looking High, low, and strobe modes.
Cons: Holds zoom but slower and harder to operate zoom compared to slide models. some may prefer this though; I do not. Some may want a lower low mode for battery saving. Seemed more like a medium mode.
Other: One of the nicest looking lights in this zoomable AA size and works good. Bright enough with just a AA but 14500 battery does boost it more. Recommendable.
