Romisen RC-R4 Cree P4 LED Flashlight Silver (3V~8V Input)

Pros: I love Romisen lights and this one is no cause to change my feelings. High quality machining. Solid construction. Very bright. (I've noticed that many people use the Romisen RC-F4 as a comparison for throw and this light is just a bit brighter than my F4.) I've been looking for a side-switch light for a while, I think it'll be more convenient. Only time will tell for sure but it is a nicely done switch.

Cons: Don't care much for the rather martial looking head with its dimples and divots. I know that's being picky but I had to say something. Please put a F4-style head on there.

Other: Great throw with a clean hotspot and no artifacts. Solid construction. What's not to like?

Pros: Great to finally have a nice side-switch flashlight. It's compact and fairly light-weight for an alluminum body. Bright output with focused hot spot for throw. Have very level output through the battery life due to a good regualted driver circuit. Nice finish. Tail stands. Good knurling for grip. Appealing design.

Cons: Tint was very slightly greenish, but not noticable unless doing some side-by-side comparisons. 18650 batteries don't fit.

Other: Well worth the money for an easy-to-use side switch light.

Pros: + As Romisen uses this is a sturdy well constructed flashlight
+ Good price for the quality
+ The P4 Cree led works great (compaired with other p4 flashlights)
+ Side clicky switch (soft press)
+ It can tail stand
+ Good hand grip
+ It fits in fenix bike mount (sku 13004) and universal bicycle mount (sku 8274)
+ Aluminium reflector
+ Long throw: It lights more than 40 meters easily
+ Good spill and medium wide spot
+ Reliable
+ More than 90 min. runtime with rechargeable CR123

Cons: - It doesn´t take 18650 Li batteries
- Reverse clicky (I prefer a forward one)
- O-ring a bit too thin in the head thread (the tail one is ok)

Other: It is a pity the black model is out of stock. I think this is one of the best Romisen's at DX. Buy two of them and you won´t regret it.

Pros: Decent quality both in fit and finish. This was the ninth flashlight purchased thus far and I acquired both the black & the silver models.

Cons: Not as bright as any of the R2s offered by DX. From experience so far I will focus on the flashlights that have the Cree R2. They seem to be much better than the others.

Other: Side clicker is an asset but the comparative lack of brightness outweighs the benefit.
