ROMISEN RC-T602 CREE XM-L T6 5-Mode 850-Lumen White LED Flashlight w/ Battery Charger (1x18650)

Pros: I own around 15..20 flashlights.
Romisen makes very good built and solid flashlights.
I clearly rate them in average higher than eg Trustfire, Ultrafire, SmallSun.

Cons: More expensive, heavier than others.

Other: The Cons are the price you pay for better quality.
Personally, I am willing to spend 10-20% more for a tool that I expect to be reliable.
I make this review since I am astonished that nobody else has done so before. Is this flashlight not bought by other people, because it isn't that cheap as others?
Giv'em a chance - it's deserving it!

Pros: It's my first cree LED flashlight, and I like it. The flashlight feels solid, well made. No squeeking threads or something. Don't know about the 850 lumens but it's very bright. The light color is blueish white. Can't seem to get the 5 mode's working. It has 2 modes on and off. Don't know what to tell more about a flashlight.

Other: Very bright flashlight. Don't need to spend extra cash on batteries and chargers.

Pros: Every bit as bright as you'd expect from an XM-L, but by far the cleanest throw pattern I've seen from a DX torch. My first XM-L was SKU 57003, this torch just humiliates it. It's brighter, every bit as solid in construction and has been far more reliable. Solid build quality and so far very reliable.

Cons: Fixed beam, no flood to throw adjustment. This means it's not very useful for close up work, under 5m say. At this distance even on low power it's so bright it creates a 'hot spot' that you can't really look at. Hard to complain about a torch being too bright though :)

Other: If you want a bright and reliable torch for outdoor use, this should be on your short list.

Pros: My first LED flashlight, excellent build quality, I took it apart to see how its built. Light is spot on, really bright and not flood. The battery charger is doing its job just OK and never had problems with that.

Cons: None really, after several months of use it has some scratches on the body but thats from falling a few times.

Other: Excellent build quality and brightness I have never expected from such a cheap torch! Comparable flashlights cost much more on my local market.
