Romisen RC-V4 Cree LED Flashlight (1.3V~4V)

Pros: Very bright, compact and aggressive design. Works well with 3V primaries, even better with 3.7V. Beefy design with well proportioned turbo head. Very good for close to mid range action. Wide yet bright hot spot makes for a good tactical belt light. With unprotected 3.7V will run down to 1.5V as advertised, although dim at that level.

Cons: Plastic lens, and the typical stout reverse clicky. A bit short for my hand for a tac grip but still usable. Not much else.

Other: Clearly a clone of the Nuwai 309XR with a cree upgrade. Compared to similarly priced lights in the same class, a great bargain.

Pros: 1. SOLID! The other reviewer wasn't kidding - this thing weighs nearly 1/4 lb. loaded. Battery tube walls are at least twice as thick as they need to be. 2. All that aluminum means superior heat-dissapation. I have only noticed the light becoming a bit warm after prolonged usage. 3. Solid clicky as usual from Romisen - good build quality all around (great threads, nice anodize, etc). 4. Bright enough - what one would expect from a P4 1x123 light. 5. Easily moddable - just unscrew and you're in business.
6. Accepts all manner of protected and unprotected cells.
7. Giant "turbo-head" gives it a unique look. Just imagine a chopped down 2x123 light. Plus - I suppose you could brain someone with it (I suppose that's the intention of the designers).

Cons: 1. This format of light would be better served with a forward clicky.
2. Plastic lens (could be a pro) - unless you plan on striking people with the outrageous bezel on this thing - in which case, plastic is actually superior.

Other: A little chunky but it does the job. If you're just as concerned about your light's viability as a melee weapon as its lighting ability - don't hesitate. Don't buy this if you want something to throw in your pocket for casual usage as the head makes it a bit uncomfortable for jeans.

Pros: As before, very solid, heavy chunk of light. Reasonably bright with 1 cr123, brighter with rcr123. Fairly long run time on single cell. Squeezes all possible power out of a cr123 thanks to voltage range, maximizing battery cost. Very easy to mod, and dissapates heat very effectively.

Cons: Plastic lens, while tough, is still plastic and scratches when in EDC pocket mode. ROMISEN PLEASE USE FORWARD CLICKY!

Other: Still a great deal and exhibits typical Romisen quality and lacks issues that sometimes plague other lights such as flickering, etc. Surprised more of these don't sell as it is a well made, sturdy light.
