ROMISEN RR-A090 REBEL 1-Mode LED Flashlight (1.3V~4.0V)

Pros: Very smooth switching - one of the nicest switch actions I've used. Finish outside and in are great - very nice quality for a light in this price range. Good quality PCB contact nub for the positive battery terminal so the PCB doesn't wear out. Lot's of room inside so should fit all sorts of CR123 and RCR123 batteries. No rattle since it has a spring in the tail. Very nice even white wall hunting pleaser beam pattern. Typical slight warmness of Rebel LED's. Machining, finish and insignia are all top notch quality. Fairly bright but I've got a couple Q5 Cree's and another Rebel that may be a little brighter - still very bright but not a shocker.

Cons: A little bigger and heavier than some CR123 based lights if you want smallest and lightest -this isn't it. But this is thicker walls so it will stand abuse better.

Other: Very nice quality light with a unique smooth switch - this is a keeper.

Pros: Very solid light...much heavier body than most small lights. Good output and nice beam.

Cons: My light has a poor switch..it sticks on. Maybe after using it the switch will improve.

Other: Make a twisty or clicky available.

Pros: Seems very well built, with very heavy tubing- one of the thickest walls I've seen. Good spot and spill. Decently bright on cr123, better with 3.6 Rcr123. Smooth switch action (but maybe a little odd just because I've never seen a switch like it). This light does have a very wide beam compared to others. Lights up a very large area.

Cons: A bit heavy for a single cr123 light. But I think that was the design of this light. The switch is smooth but a bit odd and might come on in a pocket because of the design. The REBEL LED seems quite bright but the tint is a touch on the green side. This is in comparison to some Cree's I have, which are very white. But I have seen greener tints. The beam could be a little tighter (narrower) for my taste (but this is more personal preference).

Other: Good build quality, as are all other Romisen's I bought. Can't beat these prices!!

Pros: Smooth HA-II finish, unique clickie is easy to press, good output on CR123, even better on RCR123.

Cons: The exposed rear clickie looks vulnerable to breakage if the light is dropped, which also makes it easy to activate the light unintentionally.

Due to the light's relatively massive size(for single CR123), not really meant for pocket carry in the jeans or pants, OK for the coat or jacket.

Other: Its a useful light to have sitting on the desk or tool bench, but not stored in the car or hip pocket due to its size and exposed rear clickie.
