Pros: The device has a nice, soft, "rubbery" touch to it. It has an R820T tuner chip inside, that means it is very usable for the RTLSDR project. Has a better build quality than other EZCaps. Comes with a driver CD that contains a licensed copy of BlazeVideo player (Serial key is on CD box).
Cons: It has only some minimal cons: It has an MCX antenna connector, which is not really popular in my country, not sure about the others. The sensitivity of the device is greatly improved (coming from older EZCaps) but still not as good as a dedicated standalone DVB-T receiver (Again, maybe my antenna hasn't got the same impedance, so it may be my problem). The receiver heats up after some usage, but that is normal and doesn't affect the video quality nor harms the device (May affect the frequency precision while SDR-ing, but the device is not intended to use for that).
Other: The delivery for this product lasted pretty long, but that maybe because of the order time (Christmas + New year holidays)

Pros: With the SDR software you can find on the internet it makes an nice 24MHz to 1800MHz all mode receiver. It works much better with the new R820T chipset. Nice build quality, handy USB cover for storage protaction.
Cons: I had to cut the antenna cable to connect my own antenna.
Other: I'm very pleased with this Dongle, works great on Digital TV and on SDR. (search for R820T and SDR to find the software.)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Cheap - Arrived under 20 days from order
Cons: -Two antennas were defected because of bad handle with package, no big problem. The screw for antenna was hit an retracted so antenna cannot be screwed up. Solved it with a bit of tools.
Other: Great product for sdr, although it is not its primary usage, still did not tried to run it for tv reception. :)

Pros: Contains an ESD, has a R820T. These help make this dongle a far better buy the E4000 dongle I bought in April at the time of the inital rush to get SDR compatible dongles.
Cons: Has a linear voltage regulator so can get hotter tiny aerial, but this can be fixed
Other: Excellent value for money, look for a MCX to F adaptor if you want to hook it up to external aerials
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Everything as advertised. This item work perfectly as SDR radio dongle or ADS-B receiver with Flightradar24 service and others. Search for "SDRsharp" for more info Recognized and working with Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 (64bit). Good build quality, device has USB cover for storage protection.
Cons: It has an MCX antenna connector, which is not really popular so you will need adapter if you want to connect external antenna. The delivery for this product lasted pretty long
Other: Highly recommend it to all SDR or ADS-B enthusiasts.

Pros: Easy and Cheap to set up. I am suprised the standard antenna supplied was able to do the job.
Cons: If you wanted to attach an outdoor antenna then the plug in arrangements may be a bit messy.
Other: I reackon good for someone who wants a cheap DTV on their laptop etc or like me wanted to play with SDR (software defined radio) whilst knowing only a little bit of info and wanting to do it on the cheap This was a great little purchase. I was amazed to find it picked up 24 TV chanels - the max in my area. But my main use is for Software Defined Radio using a program called SDR#. If you are interested in this sort of thing then this bit of hardware is a very cheap and fairly easy way to get involved. If you try this combination then please read the SDR documentation carefully. I am a bit green around the gills on this sort of thing but reading and preseverance have been very rewarding.

Pros: Good for SDR-technology. It was the main reason I've bought it. And I wasn't dissapointed. I'd recomment to use TSSDR software. With this programm it's easy to catch any station (screen shows 2 Mhz and find out what was said seconds ago. Sensitivity is OK, the same as my Wouxun radio. As for DVB - we have no stations this format now, so no comments. Frequency from 24.6 MHz and higher, TV channels sound, airplanes, city services, FM radios, satellites... everything you can get.
Cons: Need RF-shielding to decrease local noises from computer - but it's not so nessesary. It's better to use long USB cable.
Other: Recommend it. R820 works fine for SDR.

Pros: Low cost wide-band receiver. IR-remote control (with battery), CD and antenna included. Works with SDR# on Windows XP and Windows 7. Fast and simple driver install. Good boxing. High sensitivity. Nice plastic (soft-touch).
Cons: There is some noise in the receive path. Unit heats up during operation.
Other: I'm from Russia. Russian post works very slow. I was waiting for the parcel more than a month, but it is worth.

Pros: This dongle has very nice cover, so you can get great touch experience. There are huge possibilities in using it as SDR: common radio listening as well as ADS-B decoding or watching local TV channels (DVB-T). My bandwith range is from 10 MHZ to 1750 MHZ. Very wide, isn't it?
Cons: Antenna doesn't receive weak signals (what is clear I think), but sometimes it does. If you want to work with it professionally, you will have to change the antenna and buy RF to MCX connector.
Other: For me it is a good thing to develop my radio engineering skills.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Is excellent even got Windows and Linux is not able to make them work. On www.nabava.net you have a list of all the stores that hold the card with the price. Komp's very strong and I would recommend that you take off the latest drivers.Has an analog TV, digital TV, digital clock, FM radio and digital radio .
Cons: lack of tuners is that there is no extension for a longer antenna, and if you're not high enough you will not catch the signal.
Other: If you need this kind of product you buy it but the fact that you will probably have to continue to work themselves to the antenna. software is relatively good as the product itself.
