What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: - Clips help the connector stay in place - Compatible with all SATA drives
Cons: - None
Other: The SATA cable that was included with my mainboard (similar to http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5170) disconnected too easily from the mainboard connectors and/or the hard drive connectors. This resulted in flaky hard drive performance or just plain disconnections.
The connectors on this cable click properly into the hard drive's connector, and fixing it in that position. Or if you have an older hard drive or main board (my main board is somewhat older), it won't click, but it stays better fixed in its position anyway than the original cable.

Pros: Excellent price
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Other: Excellent price and the cable works
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Just does what its supposed to do.
Cons: None at all.
Other: Rock bottom price for a quality product

Pros: Very nice product, identical to store bought cables. Metal retention clip, keeps the cable from falling out.
Cons: No cons, maybe offering them in a variety of lengths, as this may be too long/short for some users.
Other: Good and Cheap.

Pros: Snaps in place. Works.
Cons: None.
Other: If you need a clicky SATA cable, this is it.

Pros: Very Cheap, usually charged around $5 at the local PC Store for one of these cables. It has the sata2 metal clips to stop the cable falling out
Cons: Cable is a bit shorter than the ones that came with my motherboard, and wont reach DVD drives at the top of the case.
Could be more of a problem for people looking for good cable management
Other: Buy them if you aren't a cable management nut.

Pros: - It has metal clips for holding it in place: nice idea. - Not so thin as my Asus ones: 26 AWG! Good. - It looks to me a good build quality.
Cons: - I wanted it yellow for matching my motherboard colors and for not having it like 99% of people: it came RED!!!
- I wanted it 60cm for using with my SATA DVD (exactly at 60cm): it came 50cm!!!
Other: Cable is good but I was expecting something different.

Pros: A nice quality serial ATA cable that is good value for money. It comes with metal clips to keep the cable locked in place. It is a nice looking cable that goes well with my motherboard. At under two dollars it is very cheap.
Cons: There are no cons for me at all, it is a good serial ATA cable.
Other: It's a good serial ATA cable at a nice, cheap price. It does what it is supposed to do. Buy a few in case you need spares.

Pros: - Cheap, could get 5 of them for the price of 1 in the local shop..
- Solid build quality
- Cheap
- Comes with little red protection caps on the end of each connector (useless probably, but hey..)
- Works with any SATA
- Did i mention cheap?
Cons: - I was expecting the yellow ones with the metal clips.. i got the red basic ones instead.
- These, unfortunately, are 50cm, not 60.
Other: Might not have been the exact ones i was hoping for.. but they work just fine, and cost nearly nothing :)

Pros: Very good build quality, not flimsy, looks nice and slick, w/ end caps. No complaints whatsoever regarding build quality. Also Gigabyte branded, which is a nice bonus, although it doesn't really affect the cable.
Cons: Though it doesn't matter to me, I received a red cable (w/o clip) instead of the pictured yellow cable w/ clip... however this may be good as I already have a few red cables and this matches well :)
Other: At this price, why not grab one? Or even two!
