Pros: Very nice card reader module for using with arduino / other microcontrollers. It uses SPI interface, so you can use it with another SPI devices taking less pins from your board. I'm using it with an microSD adapter and a 128MB microSD, it can read/write and works properly.
Cons: Does not comes with any manual for pinout, it have two columns of pins, on one side it is printed what pin is what, but you don't know if the other parallel bar is redundant or if it can connect to other functions. Anyway, if you search for examples, you can find a lot of them and use without problems.
Other: If you know how to use it, buy one of these, because it is very cheap and nice.

Pros: It has doubled pins, so you can use any flat cable available, even those from old computers. And the onboard 3.3V regulator is also good feature.
Cons: Pins are already soldered, so turning them to the other side for solderless protoboard involves some un-soldering. i had to resolder them to the other side to have the side with text and components accesible.
Other: fit an adapter in that and you have microsd too!

Pros: It is small and very easy to use in your electronic crafts, with any arduino or attiny based project.
Cons: Pinout is not completely clear. One line of pins have labels, the other does not so you might have to search the web a little. Needs extra cables to use it.
Other: This very nice reader will help you give your projects a more pro interface for reading and writing data. Making your crafts

Pros: The pins are labeled and they are easy to hook up to Arduino. The Arduino SD libraries interface with it just fine. Very inexpensive!
Cons: I could not get it to work with a 32MB SD card (FAT12) and it would not recognize a 16GB SD (FAT32) card. The break-out board has two rows of pins and I don't know why the extra row is there.
Other: Given the sizes of SD cards these days, it would be nice if it could read the bigger cards. It may be a failing of the Arduino libraries that they can't read the FAT12 filesystem. Next time I'll look for a micro-SD card reader instead.

Pros: Works with Arduino out of the box. The required library is default installed with Arduino I think. Wire correctly, insert card and go. What else is there to say. Perhaps that the double row of pin is actually a single row
Cons: None really. Difficult to use in a breadboard because pins are pointing up. Also there are just 2 mounting hole at the very end of the board. So, mounting in a kind of permanent set-up is difficult.
Other: Nice, cheap SD card reader/writer to log all that interesting stuff an Arduino collects. I use it to log temperature in my mini green house.

Pros: - It has a small size. - it Can be in use together with a card Arduino, the microcontrollers PIC or the card MSP430 Launchpad, I her am using with a card SD of 512 MB and with an adapter of mike SD to SD.
Cons: - It does not bring manual of instructions, guide of use or leaf of specifications, to connect to a basic circuit. - It confuses the fact that it brings a label of 5V and other one of 3.3 V.
Other: If you know how to use it, buy one of these.

Pros: Cheap and working well. Combined to an arduino nano v3.0 clone (buyed here) it does what is needed, so write and read files on sd card. just wire correctly and try with examples sketches from arduino IDE and let's go. Well designed with a spring to remove easily the SD card.
Cons: i don't find any negative point on this item. I buy it do do some stuff and it did it.
Other: small, easy to use, and work as designed, so don't hesitate to buy it. Enjoy.
