What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: works with a lot type of cards red led shows when its writing to card has a small hole for keychain^^
Cons: led light is bliding... card jacket to hardy to open pin broke after some times opening hard to put out sony pro duo card
Other: althrough its have some bad points its great in general read almost any cards, best price, easy to use, and small solution
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Fast card reader for Xd and SD memory. I haven't used it for the other formats... It's close to my SanDisk card reader speed, and about 1/5 the price (but doesn't do compact flash or smart cards). I have a fuji camera that uses Xd memory and it's handy to have a card reader at work that can read Xd memory. I also use it for my 4gb MiniSD using the sd-mini adapter. It's about as good as they get.
Cons: Common card reader problem of sometime hard to get the smaller cards in the slot.
Other: A nice card reader at a good price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Decent transfer speeds - Worked with all the cards i've tried so far
Cons: - Cheaply built - Only decent speeds
Other: It's ok if you want something cheap to stick in the back of your computer, but don't carry it around in your pocket because it will break.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works fine with my xd and sd cards.
Cons: It's cheaply made. The cover that goes over the part where you insert card is hard to put back on.
Other: The cons are minor. The important thing is that it works.

Pros: compact design LED dims to show activity reads a problematic sony pro duo card that my other reader didn't recognize
Cons: it might partially cover another usb port (might need an extension cord) LED is bright will not read my kingston 1gb SD card, but reads all my other cards including a 4gb samsung pro duo as pointed out, pro duo cards require a fingernail to pull out. (i use a memory stick duo adapter instead and plug it into this, works great)
Other: great for grabbing pics off of a card on the fly
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Reads my SD cards fine
Cons: Cap over the card slot is hard to remove and snap back into place
Other: It does what it's supposed to do and the semi-transparent blue plastic housing looks good. Brand new, it's a little tight, and looks like it might be putting small scratches each time I insert an SD card, but not a big enough deal to bother me. The end cap is really hard to snap back into place. I've done it but the plastic looks like it's about to break off where it connects. For the price, can't be beat.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Reads all the cards you could ever need at high speeds. Great value for the price.
Cons: The layout is a bit confusing. The top of the memory card faces one direction while the label faces another, and it's not easy to tell which end should be up when plugging it in. The cap is difficult to put on and off.
Other: You can't go wrong getting this, don't spend 10x the price in stores. This will read everything you need.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Compact, works just fine. No problems yet.
Cons: Cap is a little troublesome. Seems a little delicate.
Other: Good bang for your buck.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works very well with my mmc and sd cards.
Cons: The cup that cover the card connectors is hard to put back on. Broken in the second insertion.
Other: It works but the quality contruction could be better.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small, solid several-in-one solution. -no cords.
Cons: As described by others, the swing up cap on the card insertion end is difficult to close...
Took (broke) mine off, and no more problem.
Only 4's on build quality and ease of use because of the wanky cap, but that doesn't affect functionality at all.
Other: Another happy customer.
