Senpower 1000W Car 12V DC to 220V AC Power Inverter with Universal Socket Adapter

Pros: Great value for the Price Quite happily runs a 680W electric drill, Seig Micro Lathe and Seig Micro Mill all of which must have a considerable start up serge currents particularly the 680W drill at start up.
Cable diameter is good for the current required from Battery has screw terminals

Cons: Rather than a universal adaptor a UK Socket would be better.
The universal adptor blocks the second socket so why fit the second socket?
There is no provision for adding a full earth other inverters have a a screw terminal for earthing.

Other: Good purchase orderd a second unit as my partner needs more power for her workshop next door.

Pros: Comes with both cigarette power adapter and battery clamps with twist terminals. Compact size, light weight. Good build quality, opened it, and components and soldering is good quality. Good output, more than 600 watts (have tried 650W, works great)

Cons: Not 1000 watts output. Will not work while engine in my car is running (see other thoughts).

Other: For this price I think this is a very good buy, even with only 700 watts, a similar inverter costs more than 4 times as much here (Norway).

Pros: Very happy about Senpower 1000W, easy in use and there is a universal apdaptor for use in belgium.

Cons: The universal adptor blocks the second socket(but this can be solved).
There is no provision for adding a full earth other inverters have a a screw terminal for earthing((but this can be solved to)

Other: Voor BE/NL gebruikers je kan deze gebruiken enkel de aansluiting voor normale stekkers is niet mogelijk, maar wel met een adapter.

Pros: This is one product that I'm happy I got one!
The good stuff :
- It works ! I hook it up with a 600W light and it works off my car battery like a charm.
- It's easy to use. I've never had another inverter, but it easy to start.
- Built quality is good. All the required cable are included.
- Now that I use it, I'm glad there is a fan on it!
- Low voltage warning works.

Cons: There isn't anything bad to say, but I have some idea for improvement:
- I would prefer a longer cable for both the cigaratte lighter and clippers. I power it directly from my car battery, so it's like hanging. It would be nice if I can put the inverter on the floor (not on top of my engine).
- It get quite hot when I run it with my 600W light. Now, this is the only inverter I got, so maybe it's normal. My suggestion is you could put some vent near the hot area so heat can go out.
- Maybe... an EARTH cable ?

Other: It's worth the money spent. Get one if you have a use for it.

Pros: This device is powering a Creative THX5500 5.1 home cinema system, a 20V 110W notebook, a 7" screen, a GPS mouse and an iPhone flawlessly even at top volume.

Cons: It can provide 1000W for 30 minutes, 800W constantly. It means 1000W is peak power but 800W is optimal usage. It is not really a con by the way.

Other: At first I was affraid of fire hasard since I have a LPG system in my car. After constant use of 7 months, I trust it with eyes closed.

Pros: It is a good product, in my apinion the best inverter in all DX because is the most power, and you mast remember you can't use two smaller inverter in paralel.

Cons: It mast have a euro conector.
Deberia tener un enchufe europeo, auqne trae el adaptador universal.

Other: It's power inverter, you must be careful don't finish your batery and don't use the cigarrete conector with high consuption.
Es un inversor potenen con que hay que tener cuidado con la duración de la bateria y no usar el conector de coche para alto consumos.

Pros: Well built, all done in aluminum body.
The price is great, is not here for less than $ 200.00
Lightweight and very silent working.
Use in car and when the battery is to end it tells me that the battery is weak.
All electronic equipment I used worked normal.

Cons: Does not work with standard induction motors and transformers but this is a feature of any inverter.

Other: It is an ideal equipment in case of power blackout.

Pros: - Really, really much power for the price.
- Use it to power virtually anything from your home or work (I use it to power 2x450 watts P.A. speakers, and it runs like a dream)
- Great with two connectivity solutions for more versability
- The fan pushes much air, which is good for the cooling

Cons: - Fan really noisy, but can be fixed by installing silent fan
- Fan also makes noise in the circuit, which means if you have a cheap sound system connected, you will get some noise. Not a problem with MACKIE speakers, though.
- Cigarette power adapter does not have a fuse, and it will break (mine did).

Other: After all, this is a great product. I first bought one in Norway for 150$ (150w), and regretted now that i have bought this one. This one is the king of them all, but DX should have got the 2000W version as well. if it ever comes out, i will buy it right away!

Pros: - It does what it is supposed to do - Well built aluminium case - Power ratings are correct, I tried up to 1300W (peak) and it worked as expected

Cons: - A euro plug would have been appreciated, instead of an adapter - When I received mine, I first believed it was not working, as it was very often going to fault state. Actually for an unknown reason by default the device goes to fault state when the input voltage goes higher than ~13V, which means that when the car engine is started it does not work (voltage ~14.4V). Thanksfully there is a solution: you need to adjust a potentiometer on the main board (after opening the device, can't miss it). Then is works like a charm...

Other: I used it to power my tools to restore my campervan: drill, saw... (quite heavy usage though). And then to power the on-board 220V systems. After 8 months it is still working perfectly, so I can only recommend it, if you fell able to open it and modify the voltage tuning.

Pros: -The price for this unit is amazing. I went to my local car and auto store and it was $300 for the same equivalent system. The system is great for most people who use a caravan. I have been using this product for about 4 months and it has been working well.

Cons: -The fan can get a bit noisy when it has been on for a while.

Other: I am really pleased with this product. The 1000w invert means that i can use it for the higher end uses like boiling water or running a microwave.
