    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Really simple unit - just plug it in the 12v outlet and plug in the appliance. Really simple.

    Cons: The fan is full on all the time and being a small (tiny)fan, it makes a fair noise for it's size. In a car it is not a problem since the road noise covers it up somewhat.

    Other: The price is the deal maker for me - much better than local units. If it lasts a year I am well ahead

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Good price. Solid metal housing which is in the same time the heat radiator. Since I needed to make myself certain that my appliances would be safe when plugged into it I open it and looked how it's made inside. Everything looked fine and well done. After all I have been using the item during my driving trip. It fed well my notebook and mobiles.

    Cons: A bit noisy because of cooling fan, but when driving you would not notice that.

    Other: If you travel by car it's a "must have" accessory. Recommended for buying here since it's cheaper than in local stores.
