What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: Super bright. Nice white tint. Thin star so it can be retrofitted to many other types of LEDs.
Cons: >>The slug of the LED is attached to the star via thermal compound only! The heat sinking is compromised because the LED is not attached with adhesive type substance. Out of three I purchased of these stars only one is working correctly. One is dead and the other flickers and then fades after 1 minute of use (because of heat presumably).
Other: The emitter is terrific. These stars would be great if they had used thermal adhesive or attached the LED to the star in the same manner as real SSC stars.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Top output good efficiency
Cons: Be carefull to solder to copper pads not direct to lead ends of emmiter as slug will pull away from ally star (very slightly is enough to destroy heat transfer path). Slug not soldered or epoxied to star but thermal greased & held down by soldered joint pressure.
Other: Best one availlable I think I use four on a bike 960 lumens at 15w better than hid?
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Star is a lower quality
Other: Mine came with reversed polarity indication, hence the diode is blown. Thankfully DX is quick on the replacement.

Pros: Good and easy Luxeon Replacement, especially for people looking for a CREE headlamp. Well the best properly is to get a cheap Luxeon headlamp and replace it with this. I have done 2 already and both are good. Need reflector distance adjustment a little...like 1 mm back or forth.
Cons: QA is bad. Bought 3 and 1 DOA. One flicker a little but now seems to be ok.
Other: Good way to upgrade your headlamps. My runtime is about the same as before but brighter and much better tint.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Bought ten on my first order, all work perfect. Made two "killer" mtb lights with four emitters each. Intense WHITE light. Brighter than Nightrider HID. (owned in past) Emitters factory soldered to pads. No problems. I luv u Seoul...
Cons: Not at this price thankyou very much.
Other: The future has arrived. Say hello...

Pros: Very bright, easy replacement for a Luxeon 3 in a Nuwai Q3.
Cons: None
Other: Great deal!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very bright, very white tint. Perfect "drop-in" for my Q3. Appears to be an authentic Seoul ZLED star.
Cons: None.
Other: Great product for the price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Bright/efficient and direct replacement for luxeons with small modification
Cons: Bad build quality. Only 1 out of 3 I ordered even functioned at all.
Other: Great stars if you get a good one. I guess worth rolling the dice if you have money to spare....I do not.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Just like OEM stars, I didn't even know it wasn't until I read some other reviews.
Cons: The soft dome; originally I thought I melted it when it felt that way but it's just the way it comes.
Other: Get these LEDs from DX and save!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very bright LED, reasonable price.
Cons: Needs proper heatsinking @ 3.5V. The silicone top attracts dust easily, need to use IPA / rubbing alcohol to clean it.
Other: Brighter than CREE P4, and about same price as Q2.
