  • Nice product

Pros: Works as it should. Good build quality, glass is tightly on. (I've seen some filters with shakeable glass). Filter threads seems to be high quality and working well aswell in front of the glass.

    Cons: Nothing really.

Other: Nice piece of metal and glass. Works great and does not give anything special.
Also I didn't notice any reflections caused by filter glass.

Pros: Good metal filter, thread is good on both sides, glass seems perfectly fine, no noticeable difference in picture quality.
I also purchased a lens hood for my Canon 50 mm 1.8 from DX.

Cons: no cons really, I have looked at all other filter brands advertised on DX and finally chose this for the low price. I am very pleased with my choice.

Other: Highly recommended for the price.

Pros: This is a very cheap option for protecting your camera sensor, it provides protection against UV rays and fits perfectly on my 2 cameras, Panasonic FZ47 and Canon AE 1. No neet to think, buy it and use it.

Cons: Very cheap materials, the iron ring feels cheap and its weight is so low that it feels like is made of paper. But it works perfectly. It gets fingerprints a lot, but that happens with almost every lens.

Other: Buy this item: low cost and great product! it works perfectly!!

Pros: feels like a very well built and sturdy filter. clear and dose not effect the picture in any way. seams strong and well suited to protect my expensive camera lens.

Cons: i cant really think of any cons just make sure you but the right size for your lens.

Other: i dont know about you but in my country these things cost a ton and all it is, is a piece of glass and metal. so i was happy to see that dx has it at a reasonable price

Pros: -Does exactly what it is intended to do -Very good price -Not scratched or anything when I received it

Cons: -Have yet to find any cons with this product

Other: If you just need something simple to protect your lens and don't have extremely high expectations, this product is perfect. If you're expecting some sort of high end, professional grade product, then you probably shouldn't be shopping on DX.

Pros: Very nicely made, works well. Glass is crystal clear and the accuracy of the thread is very good. This product is a very good idea if you want to protect the lens from bumping into things and becoming scratched, I would recommend getting one of these for each of your 52mm lenses. The cost of these is a very small price to pay for piece of mind knowing your lens is going to be ok.

    Cons: None, it works perfectly.

Other: Good value for money, another good deal on DX

Pros: The good filter at the good price, 100% is suitable for Nikon D5100. Quality quite quite good (there is no feeling of low cost)

Cons: While at least I didn't find any shortcomings I see only advantages

Other: Buy, only be convinced that it is your size.

Pros: This is this first thing I buy for any lens as it is a cheap investment against scratches. It fitted well to my lens with no obvious problems, not to tight and not too loose. Seems pretty basic but does what it is supposed to.

Cons: None that I can think of or have come across so far and don't think I will ever have any problems.

Other: You should never be without one of these on your lens, at this price might as well have a few spare in case you run into trouble during a photo session.

Pros: The apparent advantage of this lens is its price. Since the primary function of this lens is to protect the photo lenses from accidental mechanical damage - it can cope with it better than the expensive lenses.

Cons: Special cons did not notice, but I would like something he would have cost a bit cheaper

Other: Recommend everyone from amateurs to proffessionalov to protect lenses from damage

Pros: Good compatibility with canon 50mm f1.8 lens. I am able to screen in without much hassle and the lens cap clips on nicely. Price of the lens is a steal. feels like the same built quality as my other hoya and bw uv filter. not too sure about the potential to decrease image quality or increasing lens flare or decontract... it doesnt seems to have the multi coat thing very clear.

    Cons: non

Other: low price filter to protect a cheap lens
