Pros: Very tough built, quite big for a 1 AA light. Sturdy clip, rather smooth knurling. Runs brightly with both alkaline and NiMH (draws around 2 A from a NiMH and around 1,5 A from an alkaline). Flood-to Throw slider with just the right amount of friction to allow one-handed operation still holding the focus well. Deeply recessed clicky, tailstands firmly.
Cons: Some artifacts in Flood due to irregularities in the lens, but not noticeable far from a white wall.
Not water resistant.
Confirm as mentioned before by darkmilk NO heatsink paste beneath the emitter base (therefore build quality 3)! Though the emitter is pressed to the pill by a retaining plastic ring I agree it's a good idea to add some before extended use.
Other: Clearly recommended as long as you are willing to add some heatsink past/glue and don't need it to work in wet conditions.

Pros: Uses only 1 AA. VERY convenient to switch out. Quite bright with Rechargeable "2650mAh" AA NiMH battery. I don't have a 14500 to try. Slightly (not much at all) dimmer than my 3 AAA - C30 - CREE P4 that is becoming kind of unreliable/flickery. Very compact. Rugged shape. Clip (which is medium tight). Gray finish seems flawless.
Cons: The button seems pretty stiff. I occasionally need to adjust my grip to switch it on. It's not horrible though. I kinda wish the clip wasn't so tight. Good for clothes bad for clipping on the car door storage area which is what I was hoping to be able to do easily. Battery doesn't last as long as I'm used to with my 3 AAA light but that is expected with only 1 AA.
Other: I like this light. The cons are very minor to me. The battery configuration and small size are my favorites. I may buy another.

Pros: Solid build. Good anodizing. Good lens. Low heat on long run time. AA battery compatible. 2 modes. On and Off. Zooming lens. flood to spot works great. the spot is super tight
Cons: The zoom slider was a bit rough on 1 of the lights I bought. I have a few of these and some of them are really smooth while others need to be worked in. If it really bothered you, I bet you could fix it with some sandpaper. Its just that the anodizing has gotten a bit thick in certain areas and causes the tubes to bind. No biggie.
Other: buy this light. You wont be disappointed. Probably buy 2 of them. Or buy a bunch and give them to people for Christmas! tell them you paid a lot more then 10 bucks for them though so you don't look like a cheap ass.

Pros: - Really small. Almost can't feel it in the pocket
- Really bright with both NiMh and Lion battery. Compares to most 18650 sized flashlilghts.
- Really good quality, well build, feels solid, feels reliable
- The pull to zoom is very convenient for switching quickly to long
Cons: - Not much really, for size and price ... no cons.
- Doesn't work that well with Alkaline, not bright at all, but such are Alkaline batteries.
Other: If you need something small with very flexible use, consider this flashlight.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Compact build
- Uses a ubiquitous AA cell
- VERY solidly built
- Good heat sinking
- Convenient zooming
Cons: - There is no thermal paste between the LED MCPCB and the metal heat sink. I ended up adding thermal paste myself as I really don't want this beautiful baby to deteriorate due to overheating. In order to put in the thermal paste, however, I had to unsolder and re-solder the board, which I don't like doing.
- Not water resistant
Other: Overall, this is the best low cost flashlight I ever bought. It feels like something much more expensive than what you pay for it here.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: +Body very well machined
+Sturdy clip
+AA and 14500 compatibility
+Very well focused
Cons: -Bad thermal heatsinking (Pill)
-Switch is glued
-Lens also glued
Other: The first one I ordered was DOA. DX was fast enought and sent me a free replacement on my next order.
Great light, amazing

Pros: Small, bright, adjustable focus and a good pocket clip. Excellent fit with the #08274 bicycle mount. One way on-off clicky switch, no multiple useless functions.
Cons: At maximum focus one can see clearly the shape of the led emitter in the beam.
Other: Extremely happy with this light, for it's price it must be one of the best LED lights.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very good build quality. High quality plastic lens. Adjustable focus. It gives a lot of light comparing to other small size flashlights. It has a very good and solid clip. I have measured the current. My multimeter shows 1,2A with the new battery. It can continuously work for about a hour on standard SONY Ni-Mh 2000mAh battery. After a 30-40 minutes light intensity goes down slowly. After 1 hour it is still working, but light intensity is enough only for finding the keys or spare battery in a cabinet or something like that.
Cons: Nothing.
Other: Highly recommended if you want good quality, ~120 lumen, small size and AA standard batteries.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - It is very cheap!
- Looks very cool.
- It is very small and still lit very well!
- The light from this flashlight is very bright, very bright indeed!
- The focus mecanism is very cool, and also very useful!
- The quality seems to be very good! All metal. It also feels very sturdy!
- It has a useful clip.
Cons: (None!)
Other: Bottomline, this is a good loking, sturdy, bright, handy and just awesome flashlight. I do not think there is any cheaper than this that is also that good. It feels very sturdy, I think few other can match the quality and all other advantages it has. :)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - small - bright - lightweight - flood-to-throw - tailstand possible - strong clip - just one mode (some might take this as a con) - works with just one AA /14500 - feels solid - good runtime
Cons: I don't have many cons - even in comparison to the pros. Maybe for some people it's a con there is only one mode (On / Off). If so, simply get yourself another flashlight. The headcap feels a little flimsy when you zoom out to trowing mode. Also I don't know if, in some time, dust will get into the mechanism and make it scratchy. The torch is kinda solid build, but you can see it's not anodized and after using it for a while you will get scratches. But thats no real con concerning the price. What you pay is what you get.
Other: I got this one as a backup flashlight. I got one in black already, but for the price its a steal. Go and get yourself one of these.
