    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Seems to be reliable. It was able to read heavily scratched disk, which was not recognized by my desktop's internal drive.
    Slim and compact.
    Writes DVD RAM.

    Cons: No real disadvantages.
    It's not very fast. Expect around 4x average speed for both reading and writing.
    Mine came in the box titled "iphone" and there's an apple on the top. Is it meant to be an iphone accessory?

    Other: Not much to say.
    I need this thing to work with dvd ram archives. It does it's job.
