  • Converts PWM signal to analog voltage for fans

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - Does its job - Easy install - Cheap - Useful

    Cons: - Knob with not recognizable function - Looks cheap - Rpm alarm, what rpm alarm? - Non-existent manual or operation explanation (only for connoisseurs)

    Other: Must have if you want to conect no-PWM fans in a PWM output.

  • Perfect to control speed of older or cheaper fans

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: It converts PWM signals to voltage level, so it can control older or cheaper 3 pin fans.
    Well built and there is an adhesive on the back so you can put it anywhere inside the computer.
    Easy to install.

    Cons: Difficult to find the right settings on BIOS.
    Instructions are not clear on how it works.
    I don't know if the RPM alarm is built in or if it is a software feature.

    Other: It works just fine, but you may have to mess around with some PWM settings on your BIOS.

  • Tool convert PWM signal to control voltage fans

    Pros: Easy install. Convert PWM signal to voltage control for fans. In my controler received, knob yes control slightly rpm. Its small.

    Cons: What rpm you hear the alarm?, I think it does not work. Not regulated from below 5V. Instructions are not completely clear.

    Other: Required to connect fans not PWM to connector four pine motherboard.
