What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Firstly the price, compared to other similar products... although it could be even smaller. Secondly it works! Dog learns it's limits in a day and avoids cautiously fence even if I've switched it off. So very good psychological design :P .
Cons: Physical design - my dog scraped the battery cover off on the second day, but a little bit of duct tape will help. Included wire is bit crappy if you take installation seriously - AWG30 wrapwire will brake very easily if pulled more than gently... I would be best to replace it with AWG26 or so and you might even get more coverage. 4LR44 type battery IMHO is bad choice - I have sought rechargeable batteries with same voltage and similar size but no luck. if you leave the battery in collar even if dog is inside or in kennel, it runs empty in about 2 week of average operation.
Other: I think it will work fine like descriped in the manual, but one should definetly use a thicker wire and some premium class electrical tape (Scotch 88T in one of the best) on battery cover for ensurance.
