Pros: I use to windsurf, and a gadget like this is quite useful to know which sail size do you need and also to have a accurate register of the wind conditions of each day you went to sail. This anemometer is pocket size, which is very good for carrying it with the strap provided. The thermometer is also very useful if you want to know how the wind will behave during the session It has the option to measure wind and temperature in several units (use the one which you are more familiar) It uses just one battery and it is very easy to remove and change. It is very sensitive, the helix spins even with lightest breeze.

Cons: Because it has a vertical helix you have to point the wind with some caution, because it just measures in one direction. Other more expensive anemometers have a horizontal helix which allows you to measure the wind without worrying about the direction. It is not water resistant.

Other: Buy it if you needed or you think you need it, because if you just buy it to play around it doesn't offer too much fun. But for measuring breezes and wind it's great.

Pros: It's a great quality gadget, with a nice display and good plastic.......It's very useful if you are going to the airfield to fly models like me....I was very impressed when i open it. The built quality is really good for the price...If you are looking for an anomometer, this is the cheapest that i found

Cons: Doesn't change the wind ;-) But. Reads the main parameters you need to understand! In order to practice your sport. It is important that you read the manual because the way to switch off is not straightforward.

Other: Worth the price if you practice sailing or other related wind sports? If youndon't, simply don't buy it.

Pros: It is professional tool, & Hobby tool too. Its work for me best during my job related work, as i am a Mechanical Engineer it is very useful for me during my job requirements.

Cons: when i received this, i was surprised by the features which they write on the back. I was wondering that these all will work for me. But when i use it i found it great product for my job stuff.

Other: There is no case available with this. If the case is available it will be much better in future.

Pros: Cheap, easy to use and seems to be accurate (although I am not able to check this). Windspeed is easy readable. Build quality is very good for the price. Much cheaper than comparable devices in Europe. A sturdy enclosure and buttons. I used it for half a year now to determine the windspeed for my kite and it is still working :-). User instructions easy to understand in English...

Other: Great product and not too expensive.

Pros: Seems to work well. Would be good if there was a button to keep the backlight on all the time. Good sized screen. Relatively simple operation. Does what it is supposed to do and nothing more. Good size and light weight, so very easy to take with you.

Cons: A little bit pricey for what it is, and probably should have included a pouch for that price. Not sure how accurate the readings actually are. The controls are a bit clunky, could do with more buttons to control it.

Other: You won't find cheaper.

Pros: Very good product for sailing and windsurfing. Easy in use. Small and very light. It doesn't take a lot of time to find ous the windspeed at the moment. Load fast. So, you don't have vo wait a lot while it load.

Cons: Has no safety-case. Easily can be broken. I don't see any other cons. This thing is pretty good. sometimes I thing, it would be better if this device had a light to viev digits on a display in the dark.

Other: Great thing for everybody, who need to know the windspeed.

Pros: Great price, small easy to carry in a pocket, clear display with backlight, temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit you can set m/s,ft/min,knots,km/hr,mph very convenient, large strap so never fall down, comes with a battery so you not have to purchase, good quality!!!!!!!!!!!!! not for strong winds I think

Cons: maybe an power off button (auto off), a wind direction (I use the stripe) and a pouch or an soft case, but is okey for the price!!!!!!!!

Pros: Cheap item very simple to use. The display has a backlight so it is easy to read.

Cons: You have to point it directly at the wind to work properly. It takes some time to get used to point it the right direction. The only Con I could think of is that the could be some kind of carry pouch included.
