SmartPointer USB RF Presenter with Red Laser Pointer

Pros: Funcionalidade 100%, não precisa apontar para a base para funcionar, bom visual e já vem com pilhas.
De boa utilidade para professores, instrutores e pessoas que trabalham com apresentações em público. Já comprei outras ponteiras e essa é uma das melhoras da Deal Extreme!

Cons: A base USB poderia ser um pouco menor, pois não entra em alguns CPU's por causa da caixinha receptora.
A tampa da pilha parece ser sensível e de pouca durabilidade.

Other: Recomendo o produto, principalmente por causa do bom preço.

Pros: - Really easy of use. It can works in many operating systems such as Windows, Linux or Mac OS. No drivers are needed.
- It comes with very nice leather case.
- Very good relationship between the quality and price.
- The red laser is good and it enough strong.
- The size is ideal for the hand.

Cons: The USB device is big. However, this is not a problem for me.

Other: Very good presenter. I can recommend it for those who make presentations.
It is very cheaper. Check the price in other stores.

Pros: Extreme good value for money. It does what it is supposed to do, and its price tag is impressive.
By the way, I have tested it not only in Vista, but also in Fedora and Ubuntu with OpenOffice Impress and it works just as well as in Windows.

Cons: Maybe the quality of the plastic could be improved. Also, some extra weight will give it a better feel. The USB unit is a little bit bulky. Once again, for that price it is a superb unit.

Other: If you are looking for a truly inexpensive device that does its job, this is it.

Pros: Cheap and easy to use! You simply plug it in and it will work like a charm! No installations of drivers required. Works for Windows 7 too. The forward and backward buttons simulates a Page Down and Page Up key press, so if you're really tired, you can use it to surf the web too. It includes 2 AAA batteries and comes in a nice leather pouch too!

Cons: The build quality seems a bit cheap and too plasticky, but I suppose that is what you get for that price. The RF receiver is a bit big (roughly 2cm x 4cm x 1.5cm) for my liking but I suppose that comes with the price.

Other: Good buy if you are a student that makes presentation often. Makes you look more professional instantly!

Pros: * Cheap.
* Works well.
* Laser is enoughtly bright.
* Can work with 2xAAA NiMH batteries (2.4 V) - tested.

Cons: * User-manual only in Chinese, not in English or in Russian.

Other: This presenter is good. Recommend to buy if you need it.

Pros: Very cheap presenter and can do what it is supposed to do, i.e. present.
The buttons simulate a page up and page down key press, if anyone is curious.
The range is pretty far so you can comfortably walk around a room and it will still work no matter where you are.

Cons: Upon dismantling I noticed an LED that is not used.
I can't find any button that can activate the LED.
But other than that, I think its a great device, the build feels very cheap with the hollow plastic and all..

Other: At this price, you can't really argue, but it'll be better if it has a few more buttons like blacking out the screen or whiting out.

Pros: Small and fits right in your hand. Seems to be good built. Very strong laser. MY laptop (vista) recognized the USB straight away. It comes with a really cute and useful pouch. Good price!

Cons: Makes a little plastic noise when you press the buttons, but it really isn't that bad. It's doesn't bother me at all, but it may bother someone else.

Other: I recommended this to all my friends, and I recommended this to you too.

Pros: Works without any problems with Linux (Debian with 2.6.33 kernel, but I don't think it matters much), strong laser pointer, perfectly fits my hand, good build quality.

Cons: The receiver is bigger than it would have to be, battery cover is quite hard to open, I tend to afrraid to break it and my remote unit was little scratched when I received it.

Other: Very useful thing for presentations. Identifies itself as "Hai_zhi RF Keyboard &Musee" :-).

Pros: Haven't tested to good range, but works from the hallway outside my lab which is obsctructed by a wall, so seems reasonable enough Very cheap Laser is quite strong (stronger than most cheap 1-2 dollar pointers) Plug and play with XP and Windows 7 Case is handy

Cons: Slightly cheap plastic feel Dongle is fairly large (can't foresee a real reason that would matter)

Other: With what you can pay for these at a typical store, this is an absolute steal. It doesn't have the full functionality of the best presenters out there, but it also comes about about 1/10th of the cost

Pros: - Presenter functions as it should, no strange behaviour found - Good to have the laser pointer embedded - works like charm on Windows 7 (test machine) - No CD needed (Windows 7, Vista) - Nice pouch - AAA Batteries, not the hard-to-get-ones and they are included

Cons: - To bad the up arrow does a page up, and not a page down. Logical ofcourse, but the up arrow is closer to the laser button, so for usability, I would sugest switching the up and down. But hey, once one is used to using it this way, not really and issue. - User manual is in Chineese, not that you need it, it's just plug-and-play. - The click sounds plastic - Poor build quality. Although, when you're gente with it, I think you'll get along :) - USB Receiver is a bit large, but not really a con there.

Other: Need a cheap working presenter, this is the one.
