Smoke Detector Alarm (1*9V)

Pros: Price, dependability, battery economy, low battery alarm, good quality.

Cons: It detects only smoke, not carbon monoxide (see specs). I tested it in a stuffy room with closed fireplace and waved smoldering piece of paper - it reacted on smoke only and it took a minute of waving.

Other: A must have device for its price. It capable to wake you up with loud "beeps" in case of fire, but you should back it up for detecting problems with chimney stoves, etc. Text on a box says that it's general purpose detector, not a kitchen version.

Pros: I did not test it with smoke but test button is working as expected and power light blinks periodically. I have checked some local stores, products they are selling are much expensive but look exactly the same. I am guessing it is the same product. 9V battery is strong an easy to find. Battery installation is easy. That is also comes with 2 screws for wall installation but i have placed it on top of a higher shelf.

Cons: Built quality could be higher but does not really important.

Other: It looks like a good product for the money.

Pros: got exactly what i expected and they seem to work just fine.

Cons: can't really find anything to complain about. the manual could have been a little clearer to follow.

Other: once again a satisfactory purchase from DX. I look forward to doing more business with them. I neew to write some more to get up to 5oo characters but there is not a lot you can really say about a smoke detector unless you maybe got something you werent happy with and this is not the case here as I am well satisfied.

Pros: -Reasonable build for the price -Comes with a battery 9volt -the test alarm seems to work and blinks red -Alarm is loud should do the trick

Cons: -Manual is a general one for multiple units and talks more about the gas leaks and wired ones with battery backup. so its a little confusing Im not sure if it detects gas leaks as well but I suspect its just smoke which the heading says well I hope so.. else you got the wrong ones :/ else people could die

Other: for price cant go wrong buy some

Pros: - Loud, once tested the siren should be heard in most of a regular house. - Works against fire. I tested with a burning piece of paper approx 1 meter away from the detector and it reacted quickly. - It's just like any other fire alarm - comes with battery - comes with 2x screws

Cons: - found it cheaper in my local hardware store - screws are very low quality - no other cons

Other: - be responsible and buy + maintain your fire alarms - Keep yourself and your family alive if there is a fire!
