Solar Power Panel (2V 20~25mA)

Pros: they are neat! getting energy from almost nowhere. getting 2v out of them in full light

Cons: i of the 5 i ordered was damaged and did not put out the full charge. i dont think im getting the full amperage out of these though. my multimeter says im getting about 8, if im measuring correctly

Other: if u can find a use for them, theyre cool

Pros: It really generates power and delivers 25ma under very strong light.
In fact I measured max of 37ma with extremely strong lamp which made it very hot.
But in normal outdoor conditions it provides about 10-20mA, which is ok for this size.
It seems to have weather resistant surface ( resin or epoxy?).

Cons: The one I have does not look like the product pictures here(almost completely covered with
solar cells).The one I got has only half of the surface covered with cells(see the pictures).
The back side is compeley diferent - a total mess - it was very hard to find where to attach the wires.
There was metal foil separated in four uneven parts and misleading stickers with "+" and "-" signs which were misplaced.
I needed some time with my multimeter and a lamp to find the right places to connect the wires.
Voltage level only 1V open circuit when cloudy. You need strong light to charge 1.2 NiMH cell with about 10 mA.
In normal conditions it hardly reaches the adverstised 25mA.
May be the protective resin cover is too opaque for a solar cell + it has only half the cells and it all makes it very ineffective.

Other: Good solution for powering some independent small devices in the garden, on camping sites etc.
However, you may need some of the bigger panels for most projects, because they have better price/power ratio.

Pros: I bought these for a solar powered cell phone i was intending to build. They are very good quality cells. i got 2 cells that were much bigger than the ones in the picture, they put out about 30mA which is pretty good for this size of cell

Other: get them if you have a definite need for them!!

Pros: I bought this solar panel for a DIY project. It is a good quality product. It can produce 1.85~2v with a stong light. they are small. On the back there are two metal parts with a "+" and a"-" so it is easy to solder.

Cons: I can't see any cons

Other: If you need it BUY IT! this Deal is Extreme! it is cheap ,small and it can produce 2v and about 30 mA. You wont regret it!

Pros: Cheap and fully conforms the specs. Good quality, easy to solder, small outline.

Cons: Cons? Are there any cons?

Other: Buy this one if you need a solar cell with these specs. It won't recharge a car battery but it can be used to power solar garden light or toys (especially if you connect two panels serial to get 4 volts).

Pros: the product is of good quality. comes with terminals for soldering, can be used in various electronics projects. I'm using the solar panels into smaller educational projects of ecological energy sources.

Cons: I have nothing to complain about the product, I am pleased with them. however the pictures a bit deceiving in relation to size, it is best to check the measurements of the plate, which is very small.

Other: Nothing

Pros: This Solar Power Panel is unbelievable small, but it's working fine ! With full light on it, I got 2.2 volt. In normal light I got more or less 1.7 V. So it's very good for such a small solar panel !

Cons: I can't find any bad things... It was very well packet in (with a protector on it). The product is like it is showed on the pictures. Excellent!

Other: Buy it ! Very usefull! Very Small ! It works properly !
