Solar Powered 3-LED Purple LED Flashlight Keychain

Pros: Made of good plastic. The solar panel is adequate to light this key chain's fire!!! The casing is solid so I don't think your keys will harm the item bit solar panel might be sensitive to scratch (haven't found out yet)!!!

Cons: There's no way of knowing if it's charging or not since it lacks a led light indicator.

Other: Nice to have it around your keys.
Solar based items make you feel like your fighting against the energy crisis...;)

Pros: - Great Quality!!
- The light is very bright and very beautiful
- The batteries self-recharge!
- Has a rubber exterior that seams to be very well made and made to last =)
- The button is very well positioned
- It's very comfortable to hold and press.

Cons: - Actually, this is not really just a purple LED, it's an UV LED. This is not what I was expecting, but since the light is strong at night, it's OK.

Other: This is a very cool keychain. This UV light is very funny.
If you buy the Invisible Ink Pen (SKU 88), you will be able to see the writings much better and from greater distances too.
I am going to buy the white LED version of this, SKU 13088, I think more people would like that product instead of this one.

Pros: All three UV LEDs are SUPER bright. I can use it in the office in the day time no problem. All three line up well and dont point in different directions. Great for identifying security features on credit cards and $.
Recessed easy to use button doesnt get pushed in pocket.
YES, it does charge. and quickly. (20 min in good sun)

Cons: I get a little worried about keeping it on my key chain and cracking the solar panel.
A clear plastic protector over the solar cell would be the only possible way to make this better.

Other: A GREAT buy. good quality. bright light.

Pros: It is simple to use and it does what it has to do. It charges really quick too. The build quality is good. I think if I drop it it wouldn't be scratched. The solar plate looks quite good.

Cons: You have to get used to it, the push-button is on the back, and if you push it, you have to put your fingers to the sides, otherwise you'll get fingerprints on the solar plate.
Another thing is that fingerprints are really easy to make. If you tip it then it got fingerprints already, I don't know if that affects the charging speed.

Other: A really easy to use solar UV light with good built quality and low price, good buy!

Pros: This item is small as a keyless entry for automobile, yet it delivers an outstanding amount of UV light to identify security features (works great for invisble ink). It DOES recharge via solar power - although some rumors have it that it does not. I verified it by sitting a heavy object for 22hrs on the button- when it ran down it took two days in the window to charge up- but it DOES charge.

Cons: The switch is opposite the solar panel, which promises a big fat fingerprint on the panel every time- but there is no way around that!

Other: This is an excellent item for security use, and it can be used as a flashlight also, but there is a white version available too for that!
VERY bright light for only 3-standard led's.
GET IT- you know you want it - and it is absolutely rugged enough to carry everyday on a keychain!

Pros: At first this seems like a great device. It's bright and can light up a lot of UV reactive stuff, passports, drivers licences, UV raver kandy ect. It also seems (from marketing) that this device would be cheaper in the long run as it is supposed to recharge and not need replacement batteries constantly as normal LED torches do.

Cons: After much talk on the forums or questions/answers section of this site I opened my device up. 1st bad point is no screws. This device is glued together. After opening up my device had 1 single coin battery labeled LITHIUM BATTERY CR 2016 3V. After punching CR2016 into google it was revealed that this is a single use lithium battery and NOT RECHARGEABLE. In other words this device is a gimmick after you run this device flat the battery will not recharge and if you wanted to change the battery it would require prying the device open and un-soldering/re-soldering the battery and then gluing the device together again.

Other: THIS DEVICE HAS A CR2016 WHICH IS A NON RECHARGEABLE BATTERY!! THIS DEVICE WILL NOT RECHARGE AFTER RUNNING FLAT! DO NOT BUY!!

Pros: Shines a lot of UV, makes things fluoresce. I didn't test the solar charging of it, but if that works it's pretty nifty.

Cons: It makes my eyes hurt a little (not direct beam, but the reflection). There is a lot of violet light, so it didn't work so well at making the jewels in my watch light up, too much other light to see the glow.

Other: It's pretty nifty and cool, just watch your eyes.

Pros: Great quality, button has two options: blinking mode and also on and off mode. The purple color makes florescent colors glow even brighter, almost like a black light but its not a black light. Very cool to bring to a party and use as a small rave light, portable and lightweight, charges when you put under the lamp. Clips on to your keychain and you can bring it whereever you go.

Cons: The brightness gotten lower over time, and charging it takes long.

Other: Definitely worth it, get it now!
