  • Fountain rather then a pump

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - This is a fountain rather then just a pump. To use it as a pump you'll need to buy a hose. - If you have a pond, just put it in there and let it flow around and make a fountain show. It will oxygenate the water as well; good for the fish and plants

    Cons: - In the manual it warns that the motor is somewhat waterproof, not to be left in the water often/ long time...??? for a water pump???. Considering its low capacity it will be in the water for a long time! 150l/h will mean it needs 3 hours to empty a small pool - It needs direct sunlight, and plenty of it. I live in the tropics, but even here it has problems to start sometimes.

    Other: Buy this for your pond, as a fountain.
