Solar Powered Digital Compass Altimeter + Barometer + Thermometer

Pros: - A very decent device for mountain walking - Good to use for outdoor activities, with a special map (like military ones with topography...) - Nice looking, looks like a 100$ device... - Operates very well with only one hand - Comes with a lanyard, very usefull to have it near hand at every moment - Compass, altimeter, barometer / thermometer - Accurate, even when get out from the box (no calibrating was needed for me !) Nice gum feeling when handdling. - Solar powered : No need to have batteries just near you...

Cons: - Manual is very poor and not well tranlated (anyway, it's not a big issue, the device's operations are simple to understand...)

Other: For those in the comments who have asking : The CR2032 battery is a rechargeable one, so you only need to open the back and put it inside... No other batteries, just solar power and rechargeable battery !

Pros: The Item has a nice finish, looks quite sturdy and the yellow-black contrast is also nice. The yellow part is made of some kind of rubber. The item comes with a seperate battery the user has to insert in the back. the battery is user replacable and its a standard cr2032 lithium ion RECHARGABLE. the general functions of the device work properly, the light (blue) of the backlight is usefull in the dark. the barometer /altimeter shows quite acurate values, the compass is working with the expectable accuracy.

Cons: - mine came with a defective battery (it doesnt recharge, even after 2 weeks in the sun its dead), i measured the voltage, its 0.6 something, so the battery seems to be "kaput" - the control of the device is a bit hard: you have to press just two buttons to reach the different modes, to set the time, the dilution(compass), the sea level pressure and so on... and even the backlight has to be accesed via the set button (long press). another con is the amount of time, the backlight brightens the LCD, just 5 sec. is for the compass just not enough... The LCD has a minor problem: the mode sign for "COMPASS" is drawn there as "COMASS"...which is a funny mistake, i guess

Other: buy it, if you need an multifunctional Outdoor Device with independet energy

Pros: It has virtually all the equipments you will need on a trip to the wild or on a adventure travel: digital compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer. And the best part is that you never will run without energy because the source is the sun.

Cons: None, it's working just expected.

Other: It's worth for the price, for the set of equipments in one and for the capture of solar energy.
