Soldering Scraper Tool

Pros: Good tool to distribute solder evenly on a large pad/trace polygon for protection against oxidation. Build quality is good. Scraper part is a hard metal that does not bend easily. Get one if you are into technical duties

Pros: This is a cool little tool with good build quality. I bought this tool to use mainly for sculpting and it works great and you can't go wrong with the price .

Cons: can't really see anything wrong with this tool.

Other: A nice little tool that can be used for more than just soldering and for that price you could get 2 or 3.

Pros: -Not expensive.
-Scrapes solder.

Cons: -Pretty poor build quality. The pictures make it look like a sturdy steel tool, but it's some kind of cheap aluminum, I think I could break it in two with one hand if I tried.
-Given the build quality, even at its low price, I feel like it was too expensive.
-Most importantly - the tip used to scrape is pretty hard and has no give to it - I think it's damaging my soldering iron tips, they have a very thin (nickel?) coating on them that keeps them from oxidizing, and they are not meant to be scratched at so hard.

Other: -I am too afraid to use it on my soldering iron tips.
-Despite the somewhat poor build quality, it's strong enough to work well in other tasks.
-If you are looking for something to remove solder from soldering iron tips, I would strongly recommend the brass sponge that DX also sells.

Pros: Nice tool, but fragile, a little bit.
I use on railroading modeling making.
The body is machined solid aluminium.

Cons: The "shovel" point it is VERY THIN,
so, it is not hard to bind or twist,
if you put some strongness, so, easy.

Other: I ordered one, together other products,
but DX warns me an "OUT-OF-STOCK" status,
so, I trend the Scrap Tool by other stuff.
Later, DX advises me that this tool it is
available, so, I ordered one. I will, soon,
order again1, to gift a buddie that I know.

Pros: Does what it's suppose to do. It's pretty inexpensive and great as a starter tool. Edges of the scraper are perfectly straight and works well.

Cons: The blade is pretty flimsy and the part that holds the blade doesn't seem to hold it tight. It tends to move on you when you use it.

Other: I'm getting into soldering electronic components so I needed the essentials. I found this to be a good bargain and reviews are pretty good as well. I got exactly I expected. A decent product for a good bargain. I don't see myself using this tool very often so I don't mind that it's a bit flimsy. If you're looking for one to use often, maybe you should get a better one. But I'm sort of new at this so I can't say that I'm the right person to ask.

Pros: Full metal construction makes the tool lasts for longer, maybe decades with proper use. The spatule can be changed for others (you can build a lot of types)

Cons: A bit poor manufactured detais, but at this price it´s completely insignificant.

Other: Cheap, buy one if you need that one!

Pros: simple and effective product. is simple but useful seems durable and resilient. good materials, all metal. ideal for removing remains of welding, remove and apply thermal paste (this is my case). the blade can be sharpened if it creates impurities

Cons: Not very good finish. is only a part, could come with several blades of different sizes. when trying to remove the interior parts is a little rusty.

Other: buy a unit to test, and probably buy several units for my colleagues are jealous of me now. perhaps money well spent
