What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: LCD display is fun to look at. LCD automatically turned off when fully charged. Cheap price.
Cons: Quality of the contact does not look durable. Cheap plastic casing.
Other: What else do you want for this price. Get one and you won't regret it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Display is nice to look at. It does provide some info on the level of charges.
Cons: Quality could be a bit better especially on the batteries contacts.
Other: Great charger for the price. Tempted to get another one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Has the ability of discharging and charging the battery. It is believed that if you do it once in a while, your battery will be healthier. - Independent charging channels - Compact and inexpensive
Cons: Displayed "Error" when I tried to charge my two Sanyo 2100mA batteries. These batteries have no problem getting charged in a less sophisticated charger and they provide enough juice to power my Oral-B electric toothbrush for about 2 weeks. At some point the charger forgot to cut off power and my batteries (it had three GP batteries in it, two AA batteries and one AAA battery) started getting real hot. Well, detencting deltaV is not an easy task, and you have some brain you won't leave ANY charger unattended, so I can't complain. It only happened once, no other problems with it.
Other: Like I said already, not bad for the money!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Refresh function works well Fast Charge
Cons: None yet
Other: Has improved some of my batteries and indicated which ones were faulty. I recommend this charger
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Reasonably priced charger that can handle single batteries well. Provides something which many chargers lack, feedback other than just a single light.
Cons: Did not come with a adapter or cable to use on standard 120VAC outlets.
Other: Excellent device, does what my older charger cannot which is give me a reliably charged battery. At this price it is a great deal.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Can charge 1 - 4 batteries, battery state indication, auto cutoff, discharge function
Cons: Comes with US style plug
Other: Great price for excellent charger
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Beautifully designed. Universal voltage. Easy to use. LCD Display.
Cons: Came with European plug, but that is OK. I have an European-to-NA adapter.
Other: Nice Excellent charger. Rather good build quality.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Seems to be well priced compared to some chargers, especially since it has an LCD that shows the charge level and the charger allows you to discharge/refresh batteries.
Cons: None really. I get errors when charging some NiCD batteries, but they are old and maybe they are faulty. No problems charging NiMH batteries though.
Other: It's doing a great job so far. I'd recommend it. The power cord is the same as the one used by the Sony PS2 so I'm using that instead of an adapter and the cord provided.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: All the features of an expensive charger! In Australia for a charger with these features you would be paying $60 AUD upwards!
Cons: None!
Other: For a great charger, this price is awsome!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Honest build quality, LCD helpful to get charging status / evaluate duration
Cons: Switching PS is a bit noisy. Is the NI-CD compatibility really true? Batteries I tried ended flagged as bad.
Other: I don't think you can get a better SMART Charger for this price.
