Spy Bug and Camera Wireless Signal Detector Keychain (100Mhz~2600Mhz)

Pros: It could easily detect wireless item, like wireless router, car radio, WiFi etc.

Cons: It didn't come with the manual or instruction, it just indicate some Chinese simplified word in the back: A . Search long distance, B. Search short distance. Thank god I know Chinese.

Other: Might help you to search internet signal from your neighborhood.

Pros: This device does what it says it does. I removed the telescoping antenna and added a coil (loaded dipole, one-quarter wave) antenna to really improve the ability to pinpoint the device emitting the RF. Using a small parabolic reflector fabricated from 2024 aluminum, a stable and strong (and HIGHLY directional) antenna was made. With this modification, you can point it at a person 15 to 20 feet away and detect their cell phone etc...add some mini 50 ohm coax and put the box into your pocket - hold the parabolic antenna in your hand. Works great for a bug/phone and camera detector.

Cons: I replaced the 'A' and 'B' pushbuttons with push-on / push-off switches - the way the device was sent, it just had cheap surface mounted membrane switches. Replacing the audible alarm with the vibrating motor from a cell phone (I bought the mini-vibrating motor from a surplus outlet) makes this a very discreet device.

Other: Recommended for anyone who likes to experiment or just wants to make sure they can find anything that emits an RF signature. Honestly, you can use it as-is and it works just fine - a few hacks/mods make it a perfect addition to your electronics tool kit!

Pros: - Works very good - Was able to detect a cellphone blocker - Decent Build Quality - Great Price - Can detect Cameras - Was able to detect a cellphone while sending a message or receiving a phone call.

Cons: - Had to open it up and remove the battery and the put it in again, after that it seemed to work.

Other: - Get it! I was pleasantly surprised that it works as well as it did.

Pros: It is able to detect all frequencies including WIFI, easily detect wires & "signals". It is a must for travelers to ensure that they are not being "pin-hole" by anyone else.

Cons: should allow us to lower the frequency and check for other frequency. because i tried in a hotel and it beep non stop.. and i realize that there is wifi in a the area, thus the detector keep on beep beep beep.

Other: Every traveler should get one of these, so that you can ensure that everything is good and no pin-hole and etc.

Pros: I bought this because I was concerned about the amount of radio noise surrounding me and my family. At first I thought this device was broken - the signal indicated radio waves constantly. I literally had to go underground to make sure this thing was working. The amount of noise everywhere is somewhat scary, not sure how healthy this all is in the long run.

Cons: none, really.

Other: Great price, does what it says. It will make you aware of all the radio waves around you - in a big city they are everywhere.

Pros: 1. Cheap
2. Does what it says, detects all kinds of signals
3. Can help locate source of signals

Cons: 1. The rubber casing on the buttons has depressed a little within 3 days, but I'm sure it will pop back out.
2. Unsure about how well fixed the antenna is to the casing
3. Doesn't find dictaphone type records, like function of mp3

Other: Buy - cheap, easy to use, and well worth it. If you suspect you're at any time under surveillance or subject to recordings.

Pros: i unpacked it, tried it (pressed A) and it found A HELL LOT OF STUFF :P
when you point at something derictly it starts "yelling at you" and you know theres something there
on B is when you are almost sure where it is, you press B and get closer and the same "yelling at you"

Cons: the build quality is good but the buttons are hard to press a bit
but you can manage :)

Other: great product!
buy it if you wanna go somewhere and scared of pinhole cams :P

Pros: This signal detector really works! If there is any signal in the 100Mhz~2600Mhz ratio nearby the device will alert about it. The problem is when used in a crowded place theres a lot off signals to alert about. But if you are in a distant place and recieve a SMS on your cell phone the Spy Bug will detect it if the bug is in "SPY" mode :-)

Cons: NO CONS There is not really any con to mension about. This thing does what its supposed to do, an it does it well. Smaller and cheaper functioning device like this is hard to find. It takes time to figure it out,what is Wi-fi,Gsm and 3G signal.

Other: This is a funny,intresting,cool and affordable device for all hobby James Bonds out there :-) Buy it and get suprised about all the signals that are all around us.

Pros: Works beeps when it comes close to a bug small Loud indicator sound

Cons: Plastic case comes apart and the guts of it disconnect. but can be fixed easily

Other: For the price a very useful too. But it does go off on some wall outlets that don't have any listening devices in it. so it's not by any means 100%. And sometimes the beeps and lights are confusing.
