SST-50 Smooth Aluminum Reflector (5.1CM-Diameter)

Pros: I purchased two of them and both have a smooth, highly reflective finish with no visible imperfections. It slides perfectly into the head of a 2D Maglite with about 0.5 mm of play.

Cons: Unfortunately, the lip at the top of the reflector is too tall for the Maglite. With the original plastic Mag lens in place, the threads won't grab so it can't be tightened down. Even with the clear lens removed, the bezel ring can only be threaded down a few turns.

Other: Very nice reflector and a good price. Will consider it again for future projects.

Pros: +Excellent reflective surface; +Thick Aluminum; +Works with Cree XM-L leds; +Good dimensions;

Cons: This reflector is not meant for Cree XM-L leds and the bottom is large diameter.This makes mounting the LED harder and using very thin wires is needed,because there's no much space for wires between the LED and the reflector.

Other: Excellent reflector for DIY projects and it's one of a two big smooth reflectors(this sku 5.1cm and sku:47996- 7.3cm)here at DX.Recommended buying!
