Pros: I just grabbed these without much thought when I was restocking a soldering kit to replace one that got lost, but I'm really glad I did. It's really very useful of a host of tasks that aren't actually soldering, per se, but often accompany it. Need to pull a wire between crowded components on a PCB? There's a tip for that. Many other tips that I'd never have chosen (if I'd been selecting them individually) turned out to be very useful. The slightly angled "split crowbar" tip is good for pulling out otherwise tricky component leads. The wirewrap tip (slotted, square end, with a loop for the wire end) is useful on soldering projects even if you've never heard of the wirewrap method of circuit fabrication. Have a screw you need to anchor (so you can tighten the nut on the other end) but the board is so crowded that you can only access it at an angle -- the angled chisel is great for that (worth the price all by itself, though I had no idea why anyone would want such a tip when I saw it in the picture) That's one of the good things about kits like this: 12 tips (6 double-ended tools) means you get a lot of shapes you'd never have foreseen a need for. The handles are cool and comfortable, and thus far seem quite sturdily mounted with no slippage. Some tools of this type (including the dissection needles I often use) "slip" if you twist the tip, but that hasn't happened with these yet. Solder doesn't seem to stick to it much (a good thing), but I haven't really tested that. I think the thick full-length shaft kept the tip cool enough that the solder only formed a cold joint, and could easily be popped off. This didn't affect the desiered joint I was soldering though.
Cons: None thus far
Other: I'll be buying more for myself and friends, the next time I'm shopping for soldering supplies. In fact, I almost wish I'd thought to add a set to the order I just placed

Pros: They seem solid and strong. Much harder metal than I expected. They don't look made to pretend to be tools. They look to be made to certain needs each one. Scraping, levering, reaming, holding...
Cons: The description will give you very little idea of what these are. The packaging won't help too much either, but there's an icon's worth of description of each. For example, one can be used to hold down SMD components. Flat ones with the other end and round ones with the other.
Other: Extremely handy and affordable.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - very, very useful tools when soldering, use them all the time - six items with two different ends each, so twelve avaiable tools - bargain price - build quality fine for me
Cons: text on packet is in Chinese, but there are pictures; and anyway, who needs instructions when the point of each tool is immediately obvious just by looking at it
Other: very useful, very cheap, happy with the purchase and have no regrets
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These are made of pretty good quality steel and there is a tool for every purpose under heaven. Very useful.
Cons: The handles are light blue and rather ugly. Moreover, the text "C.V. SOLDER ASSIST" is ugly and unnecessary. The brush is too flimsy to be of any use, I threw it away. You have to sharpen the tools before use.
Other: Buy these and a good pair of tweezers and you have all the mechanical tools you need for soldering.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: set of tools useful to the technician or electronics hobbyist, ferrmenta game that will help a lot at work and welding machine. Serves both for welding, as well as to unsolder. With specific tools for soldering electronic. Are of the kind of dentist
Cons: Have to check the durability of the welding tool kit diy, if at all stainless steel have long life.
It required knowledge of welding to use these tools, only manual in Chinese
Other: If you are an electronics technician or a hobbyist who likes montages can not miss a game of such tools on your workbench
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Variety of tools that are helpful when soldering. If you have done much soldering you will understand how these tools would be handy. You will find a use for them.
Cons: One of the angled picks was broken in my package, but at least it was the shorter angled pick which I wouldn't use that much anyway, especially since the other angled pick is still good.
Other: I'm sure these will come in handy, and for only $4 I am OK with the quality.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good price for a variety of soldering picks. I found the odd little wire brush tool to be useful for cleaning contact in hard to reach places. The other picks have been handy for removing components and as hol downs etc. metal and fairly sturdy you can put a reasonable amount of pressure on them without bending certainly enough for most electronics work! the handle material is not too slick so they are easy to hold on to.
Cons: The wire brush will wear down quickly as it is only a few strands but whatever. The rest of the tools are sturdy enough to last forever when used for what they are meant for.
Other: If you need something like this these get the job done cheaply.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - many different tools useful for DIY soldering
- brushes work great for removing corrosion and other residue from PCBs
Cons: - they are most likely not made of stainless steel
- brushes will wear out quickly and lose strands
- one of the "lifting" tools in my set got broken very quickly when trying to lift the connector from PCB while unsoldering it
Other: Useful set of tools, I'm sure there's something for everyone doing lot of soldering work in the set. The quality of some tools could be better (they break if you use some force, brushes wear out super quickly), but it's still worth it
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Not much to say about these apart from the fact that these are great picks. You need to bend something which is close to a hot soldering tip. You have a tool here. You need to poke and prod? You will have a tip here
Cons: A couple of the points were rusted. Doesn't speak highly of them for two reasons. A) it was rusted (well duh!) B) it isn't good quality steel (definitely not Stainless steel)
Other: No major complaints, for the price, it is well worth it to add it to your tool kit.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: A wide assortment of soldering tools for specific tasks
Cons: Handles are cheap and uncomfortable
Other: Overall, great tools for beginners and experts alike, already used two of them in tight spaces on the first day I got them and it saved me time. I didn't have to use my fat fingers to try to pull on those pesky tiny resistors. Great for precision work.
