Stainless Steel Guitar Capo for 6-String Guitar - Gold

Pros: Now its a guitar capo...so not so much to write about it anyway.
- The build quality is fair. Its a metal capo with strong enough spring.
- The rubber part also is good
- It has a plastic cover on the side holding the back of the neck not to scratch it

Cons: The cons are mainly related to its usefulness
- I bought it for a classical guitar and now I can advise anyone who intends to buy it for a classical guitar not to do it.
- The size of the capo is small for a classical guitar neck. Its most probably suited for an electrical guitar which is not mentioned in the description
- It can hold all the strings from 1st to 3rd fret but from 4th onwards it becomes short due to the fact that the neck gets bigger the closer to the body you go.
- The curve on the capo (as you can see from the pics the rubber is curved) creates a buzz usually on third or fourth strings (depending how you put the capo) because the curved part cannot hold them well. So this is another point which makes me believe its for an electric guitar.
- It took almost 2 months to get it so I was disappointed to see it does not suit my needs.

Other: The bottomline is that it looks like a good capo, just NOT SUITED for classical guitars and this MUST be mentioned. Also I had suspicion that its for electric guitars due to the curve but still wanted to give it a try as its described as a capo for acoustic and electric guitars.

Pros: Very sturdy, grips the strings perfectly, it sounds mint. I'm not the kinda person to just say this but it might be the best gripped capo ive ever seen. The price is amazing, arrived pretty quickly, nice rubber grips back and front, no worries it will scratch my guitars.

Cons: It's green! It's a horrible metallic green colour! Oh well, maybe i'll sharpie it.

Other: To think this would £15-20 in your local shop, it's crazy. To look at it you think 'how can music stores sell this for £20? It.s just metal and rubber!'. The manufacturer knows this, and this is exactly how much it should cost. Brilliant

Pros: It's exactly what I was looking for. This kind of capo could cost 15-20€ in Spain. In DX I have payed less than 3€. It's strong enough, and the rubber looks great.

Cons: Mine is black, and the paint is not very good. The first time I used it, the paint of some parts pulled off. It's not a real problem; only esthetic. In fact I would preffered it with no paint, in metal color

Other: Don't doubt it. If you need a capo for an acoustic guitar, this is fairly the best you can purchase at this price

Pros: Very nice matte finish
I got a silver version instead of the gold one, but i actually prefer it.
The grip is very strong, and sturdy,
The shipping took a while, but it was definitely worth the wait.
For just over 3 dollars, this is a VERY good buy.

Cons: The capo only just fits in all of the strings in the 3rd fret.
This is only a problem when you need to play songs when the key is changed to anything higher than the 3rd fret.
( note this is only for a classical guitar.)
For an electric guitar it would fit perfectly for the majority of frets.

Other: GOOD value, worth the purchase.
Has a tight grip on the fretboard, so it produces a nice crisp sound. Would be better if the clip was longer so it could cover all of the strings past the 3rd fret.

Pros: It is really Stainless Steel, so it will last forever
It is very cheap! Much cheaper than any capo you can find, even the plastic ones!
You would pay 30 dollars for a capo as great as this one.
It can hold firmly all the strings without loosing the tone or tunning

Cons: I can't think about any cons... it is really a nice capo that can be used live or on studio.

Other: I would buy it again. It just replaced my old plastic capo (the plastic capo cost me twice its price)

Pros: This is a really great guitar CAPO. It's cheap, very very very cheap. Have a good built quality. Works perfect on my guitar. I recommend this capo for the guitars with metal made strings. Portuguese: Capo muito bom; pela qualidade acho que nunca encontrará um igual a esse aqui no brasil. Acho que para alguns violões de corda de nylon esse capo não irá servir. Recomendo, principalmente pelo preço;.

Pros: It's sturdy, and doesn't seem to want to break anytime in the next few months. It keeps a tight grip on the strings. It's... blue? It's easy to use

Cons: It's EXACTLY the same as the 25859 capo on this website, except blue and 50 cents cheaper, and the thing looks pretty different than on the picture. On the picture it looks like the capo is for western guitars (the necks are bent slightly, so the capo needs to be as well), but it's not, so now I unknowingly ordered two concert guitar capos.

Other: Don't buy this if you want a western guitar capo. DO buy this if you are thinking of buying the 25859 capo, because this one is the same but 50 cents cheaper. And has a neat blue metallic colour.

Pros: The quality is great for the price, seems similar to a lot of brands found in traditional stores. The grip is tight and sounds better than the previous capo I was using. It is very light.

Cons: It won't support thicker electric guitar necks, don't try to make it fit or you might scratch your precious instrument. Also don't recommend this for classical guitars or some folk guitars.

Other: Might not be ideal for those thicker necks found in electric guitars like Gibson or other bluesy styled instruments.
