What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: does the job good quality
Cons: none
Other: bargain
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very thin tips Just like the $20 ones Comes with two Does the job
Cons: Nothing except dont let kids mess around with them, they have sharp tips
Other: Does the job, i keep it in my toolbox for whenever I need it
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The points come together well. They are comfortable to use. The curve makes placing smaller SMT components quite simple. They don't seem to be magnetised, so components don't "stick". Cleaning them is easy (to remove solder paste).
Cons: Not so good for larger components.
Other: A good buy. Actually quite a good buy.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These are actually nice. They are very cheap compared to local stores. Has "Stainless Steel" and "Non-Magnetic" stamped on one side of the handle. They will pluck a hair, but you have to be precise.
Cons: None! Again!
Other: If you need precise tweezing, you will not find them cheaper unless you actually go to Asia. Then, they'll probably still cost more.

Pros: Great tweezers for a great price!Stainless steel. Ergonomic. I use them to pick and place SMD components on PCBs and I must say that they are great for this use! Also can be used in different areas.
Cons: No one. Dont know exactly about the claimed "non magnetic", but for my use it isnt a big problem.
Other: Perfect tool for everyone who used to work with small parts, etc. Especially I recomended this for electronics hobbyists.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Its really light, just exactly what i needed. Ideal for working with SMD parts or making plastic models, extreme usefull, especially for someone wh working with electronics. Its not anti ESD i think, but who cares. Really precise. End is very sharp. Stainless non magnetic is written on side. I tried so it IS magnetic, but the tip is less magnetic than rest, so it doesnt matter.
Cons: Absolutely nothing, you cant find cheaper and better metalic Tweezer.
Other: One of best buys made here on DX. I really recommend buying at least one
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Sharp. Be careful.
- Cheap.
- You get 2.
- Non-magnetic stamped on the tweezer, that means that it isn't magnetic itself, but it sticks to magnets though. (Tested)
- Stainless steel, so you can operate this tweezer on conditions that might expose it to water.
- Solid feel, not a toy, but a real tool.
Cons: - None really, but that little plastic ring holding the 2 sides together might get lost easily, and being transparent, lost forever.
Other: - If you need beaked tweezers, get these.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Inexpensive. Build quality okay for the price. The small plastic keepers that hold the tweezers are a nice touch (very useful for storage). The product has been hand-finished after machine stamping, so it is not as metal-edge-sharp as it might have otherwise been. (Although the other reviewers' comments about it being pointy are true.)
Cons: The two tweezers are of the same design. However, quality control isn't the greatest, so one is slightly bowed outward - which turns out to be a good thing, because it gives the user more leverage. Both tweezers align reasonably well at the point, but not precisely. If you are picking up very tiny parts, you may have to bend the points slightly to align them to your tolerances.
Other: For me, both tweezers are comfortable to use, very practical, and more than good enough to suit my purposes. Recommended.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - One of them was aligned properly...
- Cheaper than cheap! Regardless of the cons below, I'm still glad I got these.
- They surely have other uses besides their electronics-related ones...
Cons: - One of them wasn't aligned very well at all. There's no way I could do detailed part placement with tweezers like the bad one.
Other: I don't know if I can complain too much about these, even though one is useless for its intended purpose. I like using bad ones to short jumpers, etc. so I'll find some uses for the bad set anyway. If you're looking for super high quality, it's not these...

Pros: A nice pair of solid curved tweezers for a various number of uses. I bought them so my fiance could use them for scrapbooking and crafting needs. I'm sure they'll get some use soon, as she's got a few projects on the horizon.
Cons: Others have mentioned alignment issues. Both of mine do not suffer, so this shouldn't really hinder your purchase. Make sure you want a curved tip, I think there's straight ones here too.
Other: For a number of different uses, some precise tweezers can come in handy. These ones have neat little curved end that can help reach into some real interesting places. Go ahead and buy, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
