Stainless Steel Self-Winding Mechanical Wristwatch

Pros: Cheap, beatiful, fully functional, a very nice gift, I bought one of this for my father and he loved it, specially because of the Roman type numbers on it

Cons: Bracelet is kinda cheap, is not waterproof and it can be really hard to make it work again if you stop using it for a few days

Pros: At last, a cheap self-winding watch that doesn't have A) Fake non-moving parts like date and "tachymeter" parts that don't work, and B) it's stupidly ostentations, ridiculous looking, or proclaims to be a fake brand name watch. This self-winder is elegant, serviceable, and thus far mine has worked reliably and kept good enough time for a sub-$20 mechanical watch. The face is skeletonized (it's actually two pieces) and the movement is visible, including the mainspring -- so you can see how wound it is. The hands are inlaid with some glow in the dark material to aid in dark situations. Above all, all the numbers are present on the face and there are minute divisions between all of them, which the minute hand lines up with. Finally, no more avant garde watch face BS where only 12, 3, 6, and 9 are present or worse, watch faces where only 12 is shown. The band is nice, and the clasp is very secure.

Cons: This watch shows the time only. There is no date display, no stopwatch, no AM/PM indicator, no light, no nothing. The numbers on the face are in Roman numerals, which will confuse people who can't figure out Roman numerals. No instructions whatsoever are included with the watch.

Other: If you want a very affordable, classic mechanical men's watch (I can't overstate that this is a MEN'S watch -- the casing and face are huge!) that doesn't pretend to be a Rolex and isn't encrusted in fake gemstones and other nonsense, this seems to be it.

Cons: the locking mechanism is a little flimsy but it does the job.

not realy a con but stil bothers me a little:
- the design of the golden front plate is a little different then in the picture. but it's just a small detail... (i submitted a picture so you can see the difference)

Other: if you don't like to replace the batteries of your watch and your the kind of person that wears the same watch everyday. just buy this watch.

Pros: Leve, preciso , elegante e funciona realmente, deste que chegou aqui no Brasil, só acertei o horário e pelo computador eu comparo até os segundos e ...inclível precisão total, leve e muito bonito.

Pros: Perfect for its price.
Been running it all day, for the past 24 hours I haven't had a second delay. Perhaps such flaws may occur later on, but for now - not a sec for a day is more than okay :)

Cons: The only two cons for me are the latch on the chain, and the chain itself - feels kind of cheep, but that is a personal opinion. The mechanism is what you REALLY pay for, and its ... wow!

Other: Perfect for its price vol.2 :)

Other: This clock is super cheap, and althought that it makes a perfect gift for a friend. Nice packaking makes it look more expensive than it really is. And of course you could always use it yourself, like I did. And it's still working (heh :D). Still, you just have to hope to get one which lock doesn't open sometimes, because it's annoying...

Pros: - The design : nice watch with roman numbers and silver metal bright and mate in the band. Can see all the mechanism threw the glass. the wheels inside are brass coloured With a black circle, it s really very very nice.

- Works really good. Less than one minute delay in one day. Very well adjusted.
- Very good service of DX : Bought this watch in the cny period. Need the CSE for a new delivery because iI didn t got the watch I ordered, really efficient CSE.

Cons: The closing mechanism is a little original. I didn t see this system before buying this watch. I hope it will be strong enough.

Other: If you like this design buy it, it s a good deal.

Pros: - Looking great. The color combination is very classy and good-looking.
- Never had a better looking watch, never had a cheaper watch, and never had a watch I've been this pleased with.
- Really a steel at 16 dollars. I'd have no hessitations paying 60-70 dollars for this watch at a Norwegian retailer.
- You can wind it both with your movement and at the knob. Been using it for two weeks now, and still both on time and wound.
- The box from "lk colouring" looks great. This is definitely a product that easily can be resold at a higher price.

Cons: - Chain is very long, so it will have to be adjusted. Can easily be done at your local retailer, or with a quick-fix at home. I did it myself with a hammer and a small nail.
- Didn't come with any instructions. Not really a big deal as everything is pretty self-explanatory.

Other: Easily my best buy on DX, and I've been around for a while. Couldn't recommend this product any higher. Great price, great looks, great functionality.
Just hoping this watch won't be too big of a success. Wouldn't want everyone to know I'm flashing about a 16 dollar watch :-)

Other: Excellent for the price, easy to read. Very worth getting. It is an excellent product and I would gladly get another one in the future if this one fails.

Pros: After I received my first mechanical wristwatch (# 47779, ordered from DealExtreme two months ago), and being so pleased with it, I quickly ordered this one. It arrived yesterday and I have been wearing it since while awake. It is just as elegant and beautiful as that other model; it costs a few dollars more than the other one but that it because this one is a true self-winder. So far it is keeping very good time; I set it over one day ago and, so far, it has gained only 20 seconds. It is very easy to read and its looks can only be described as magnificent. The band is of excellent quality. Frankly, the pictures do not do it justice!

Cons: None at all. I almost wish I COULD find something about which to complain - I'm a notorious "nit-picker" (just ask anyone who knows me!) - but, regarding this watch, I just CANNOT find anything about which to complain!

Other: It is my opinion that you just cannot go wrong in buying either or both of these wristwatches. Obviously I shall not be able to comment on their longevity until I have owned them for a long period of time but their appearance and apparent superb construction quality bode well. And even if they were to last just a few years - look at the amazingly low prices DealExtreme charges! How can you go wrong? You can't! Just buy it (and maybe the other one too!).
