  • Great for the gym

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - Very cheap - Works as described - Powerful sender (the signal can travel pretty far)

    Cons: - The fabric band was a bit rough on one edge, so I have to move it around a bit to avoid getting sore. - The band needs to sit a specific way (the monitor area should be on your left, where your heart is) in order to provide stable readings. That was not mentioned anywhere, but I found out by trial and error.

    Other: Despite a couple of problems, I would definitely recommend this band. For the price you're paying, I would say you are getting your money's worth.

    Pros: - Bought especially for the use in the gym - works perfect with TechnoGym equipment. - Quality is good. - Battery can be changed when empty.

    Cons: The band needs to sit a specific way (the monitor area should be on your left, where your heart is) in order to provide stable readings. That was not mentioned anywhere, but I found out by trial and error.

    Other: Why buy an expensive Polar belt, when this one does the same? Cheapest heartrate monitor belt I could find.
