Super Mini Bluetooth 2.0 Adapter Dongle (Vista Compatible)

Pros: Worked with my laptop right off. Compatible with the IVT bluetooth software I had installed from a previous (larger) dongle that included full-featured software. It is small enough that it can stay plugged in and my laptop fits in the case.

Cons: There is no software included. Apparently under XP the drivers were already present (i.e. plug-and-play).

NOTE: you will still need software for transferring data to/from your cellphone or PDA.

NOT QUITE AS SMALL as I had pictured it. The black plastic part does not sit flush against the side of my laptop: You can see about 2mm of the silver USB connector sticking out, leaving the entire device about 1cm out the side of my laptop.

Other: Great price, no software, pretty small.

Pros: -plug and play on my laptop with Windows XP

-it's so small that i can leave it plugged in when i put my laptop in its case
-works with my logitech V470 bluetooth mouse

Cons: -it doesn't go as close to the back of my laptop as i thought
-there is a gap between the black semicircle part of the adapter and my laptop
-it sticks out about 1cm from my laptop

Other: cheap, small, works well

Pros: The dongle worked right out of the packaging. I ordered this item to solve problems that I have with my Nokia phone, which refuses to communicate with my computer when I use the original provided cable.

Cons: Due to the construction of my desktop computer it is quite hard to remove the dongle from the USB slot when installed. The USB slots fall somewhat inside the casing and the dongle only protrudes about 5 mm. However, this is more a problem with the computer than with the dongle.

Other: Nice product. Not the cheapest one on the list but the small size makes it worthwile.

Pros: Very small bluetooth dongle. I have another blue tooth dongle but it is too long sticking out and since i want it to be there all the time. I need something like this one.
Blue Soliel Software version IVT2.6.09 provided but i do not need it. It works default in XP.

Cons: Minor Cosmetic: As the other reviewer said: The plaste does not flush when inserted into the computer. Since it is small enough (not protruding to out), i do not think it will cause an damage to the usb or the dongle (I hope)

Other: Cheap, no installation or custom driver need and works !!!

Pros: Great dongle for the price. IVT BlueSoleil software IS included on a small CD/DVD inside the packaging. Don't throw it out by mistake.

Cons: Sticks out a bit on the Eeepc USB ports, about 1cm total. In some other laptops, it sits almost flush.

Other: Works well. Excellent range (over 50' range with bluetooth headphones).

Other: It is hard to be too positive about this adapter. While it works perfectly fine, the entire point of the device seems lost since it sticks so far out of the machine. Granted this effect is probably less pronounced on other machines, but for the Eee this is basically useless. If you want full-time Bluetooth on an Eee, your best bet is to open it and install one internally, or at least get one of the other small adapters sold here on DX.

Pros: It is very ittle and light.
I can leave it in my laptop at any time.
Although my laptop only has 1.1 usb it is very fast.
I use this bluetooth dongle with my nokia n73 to keep it up to date and change contacts and transfer documents etc.

Cons: only the installation was not very good I had to put my system back in time for it to work with the drivers included in windows xp.

Other: very good solid little good working bluetooth dongle for this money

Pros: Comes in a nice package, really professional.
Comes with a driver CD.
It's really small so you can keep it attached all the times.
Just pluy n' play.

Cons: You have a USB port less in you note, this can be a problem if you own a high end notebook and don't have a lot os USBs, of course can be solved with a USB hub.

Other: Buy if you have a Pc/notebbok without Bluetooth (and if you own at least one Bluetooth device of course)

Pros: This adapter is small, connects quickly and easily, the driver disk not needed for Windows XP.

Cons: It could be a tad shorter in order to fit flush with computers USB port but it still fits pretty good.

Other: No regrets, I'll probably end up buying several more of these.
