Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Thier small and handy to have.
Cons: Individual compasses point in different directions (about +/- 5 degrees off north)
Other: Good if you want a rough estimate of north (but then again u could do that by looking at the sun!)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very very small compass that can be stick on anywhere you like.
Cons: Not really accurate, some of the compass direction are slightly out.
Other: No complaining about the compass with that price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small
Cons: Not fluid damped. Not accurate
Other: I would have paid this price for two slightly-larger ones that moved smoothly. Lesson learned.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very tiny, handy for sticking to random things and using them as a compass
Cons: As others have mentioned, in a batch of 10, maybe half will be usable, some are sticky, others are off by a few degrees.
Other: Mostly novelty value, but could be useful in some cases. They're so cheap it's hard not to just get a few for the novelty value
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Somewhat fun. So tiny that you can attach them into anything.
Cons: Two out of the ten compassess didn't quite know where the north was. Not really useful for real use.
Other: Neat little things, but can't really figure out any use for them, they're so inaccurate.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good and small.
Cons: The 6-7 of them are working (poiting the north)
Other: Buy also the 10-pack flashlights and these compasses and stick the compasses on the back of the flashlights!!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very, very cheap product. They are small enough to puo into any other thing. Rules, pockets, toy cars, table, etc.
Cons: 6 of them were perfect. 3 of them were not accurate (wrong in 15º) and 1 was completelly crazy. Maybe a better constrution will result in better compass.
Other: If you are reading this, buy it. For this price, you cannot find anything cheaper than this. Give the wrong ones to a kid and he/she will be very happy!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: 10 compasses for 1,60!!
You can give to lots of people, and is very cheap!!
Cons: Isn't very useful if you're in the city, or some place that you're not lost.
GPS works much better!!! But a lot expensive.
They aren't very easy to use, sometimes it stucks and you have to move the compass to get a position that works propelly.
9 worked fine, 1 doesn't poit to the same place than others, no way!!
Other: I've bought for no purpose, so it works fine for me. If you want to buy cheap compasses for some reason it's great, just find something to do with them!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These are really cheap! Some of them didn't point to the north, not even near, but some were actually quite exact! You can even turn them a little bit to the side, they don't need to be on a perfectly flat surface.
Cons: Some of them did not point to the north. Actually about 5 of them pointed really somewhere else. The build quality could be better.
Other: Buy these if you want small compasses. It is maybe not so smart to use them for navigation but otherwise they are ok.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The size of these compasses is quite nice, if you value really, really small ones. They could be put just about everywhere. As an added bonus, a few of them actually function properly. Also, they're really cheap. Even if only a few worked, they still don't cost that much.
Cons: Only three out of ten compasses actually functioned properly. The others have the magnet disk touch the casing, rendering them in practice immobile. I definitely wouldn't count on these anywhere.
Other: Don't buy these, it's really hard to find any proper use for these compasses.
