Super Strong Rare-Earth RE Magnets (18mm x 2mm / 10-Pack)

Pros: Super strong, excellent price. I bought magnets from another site before discovering dealextreme and got ripped off. You can't beat dealextreme in price

Cons: Might be a bit too strong. ordered the 20mm ones as well. Combined 4 came chiped

Other: Stronger then they look especially when stacked in groups of 10. Excellent price I doubt you can find a better price anywhere else. Will post pictures when I get my camera back

Pros: Real powerful and fun to use. 10 of these can support close to 5lb.

Cons: Still shatter prone.

Coating seems rough when compared to the 1mm, making them hard to slide/pry apart.

Other: Very powerful, but will shatter if you continue to snap them together.

Pros: Amazing strength magnets.

Cons: Difficult to separate/split the magnet from one another. Easy to break when two piece stick to one another. So becareful with them.

Other: Cheap and Strong.

Pros: Strong as expected. You just can't separate them with bare hands - got to use a knife or something like that. They're fun to play with :)

Cons: Although all of them came unshattered, i've already experienced how brittle they are by carelessly letting them collide. One of the magnet lost a little of its edging

Other: If you want to know how strong little magnets can be, dont wait, just get them!

Pros: Very strong little magnets, perfect for my project.

Cons: A little too strong at times, in the past day I've managed to pinch my fingers a great many times. They also easily break if you let them snap together.

The only major problem I've had is ordering five sets of these, and getting only three sets, with two sets of smaller magnets. Would be nice if they were all the same size, but I need them too much to send back the smaller ones.

Other: If you don't mind the possibility of getting multiple sizes, go for it, just don't go getting them too close to any computers ;)

Pros: Really strong! I still cannot believe how strong they are, and I am sure that I will find lots of uses for them. Deal Extreme is protecting them with some tape and/or bubble wrap, so that it does not adhere to some metal in its trip to your home, which is a plus, given that if it travelled unprotected, it could "break free" from the envelope ;-) Their price is really good, as everything in DX. Keep up the good work!

Other: Strongly advised! I did not know that they exist, and I am glad that a friend showed them one day.

Pros: Very strong indeed! It's amazing how they can lift pretty heavy things while they're so small!

Cons: They are so strong, it's very, very difficult to get them off each other.


Also, mine came in broken en chipped off, Deal Extreme is now sending me new ones wich is awesome, but it's just too bad they break so easily.

Other: Good price for these super strong magnets, very fun but hard to get off each other.

Pros: Very strong magnets (so strong they're very hard to seperate when they're stacked together).

Cons: Don't let them snap together from any distance, they WILL break. I broke one within 5 minutes of opening the package.

Pros: Very strong, I can put one on either side of my hand and the magnet holds.
Can't go wrong for the price

Cons: 3 were broken in my pack, even though the packaging was very well done.
Almost too strong for conventional use, like holding something to the fridge.
Difficult to get apart, difficult to get off whatever they 'glue' to. Seriously, it's like they're attached to metal.

Other: Hey, they're fun, and they stick like vel-to-cro.
