    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Low price, compact size - perfect for EDC. XR-E Q5 emitter is still a good choice. Stylish red look, it can be a perfect gift for a woman. Step-down driver.

    Cons: Only one mode. Only one high-current (1A) mode. Only one high-current (1A) mode in such a small compact pocket flashlight powered with just one 16340 battery! Good only for those who just want to warm his hands. Not usable in close range indoors as it is VERY bright! So I had to fix it.

    Other: After 2 years of using it is still good flashlight but it needs some work on it to get it lighting the way you need. But as almost every other flashlight this one has spacing between brass pill and flashlight body (pill outer dia. is 15mm while bezel inner dia. is 16mm). So you should work on it again. :)
