its hobby modeler size, like these ones!

Cons: None, really. Not rare, I associated
that "Low Prices = Bad Things", but,
once again, I was completelly wrong.

Other: Order many, to other uses that
you inventend it, and, even, to
check oral issues, remembering
after, to promote some kind of
sterelization, like 75° Alcoohol.

Pros: Quality construction. No surprises. I have no dentist use, purchased it for general maintenance purposes.

Cons: I suppose that if need it for medical use, the fact that there is a void between handle and pick, it may ead to sterilisation problems. But once more personnaly I am not aiming to use it for medical or dentist reasons

Other: I initially baught it for removing o-rings on diving equipement. Finallly i have use it for jobs not even imagined before.
A must have, I regret not having ordered more than one ;-)

Other: My father wanted me to buy it for him so the first thing that came to my mind was to buy it on DX. It has really good price and build quality. He was using a knife to scratch/clean his teeth but this is much better and safer :D He has no complaints about this product and he is happy to have it. It is very useful for people with more thorough dental needs. But I'm afraid that you can scratch and damage your enamel. It is up to the person who wants to use it.

I have it used for 3 months now almost weekly, doing dental hygiene, and have not noticed any rust yet!
Very strong! I would need to put so much force on it that it would destroy the Enamel before bending.
It bends lightly, but is very tough and comes back into it's original shape (very resilient).

Cons: Can get stuck behind teeth (though it would happen with any needle in this shape).
At times the curved side can hook behind carrying bags (again would happen with any needle like this)

Other: Remains clean and in the same shape.
High quality chrome/steel used, even for western norms!
It's a steal at that price!

Pros: good finish, solid, consistent. made all in metal. sharp terminations and protector. money well spent. mango con hendiduras para que no se resbale (antiresbalante).

Cons: no es aconsejable para uso dental, mas bien para uso domestico de limpieza. podria venir con una funda entera en vez de solo las terminaciones.

Other: if you need something like cleaning pots where you need a pin to remove dirt that is better (in my case to clean housings together, cellphone accesrios console, ...) Not suitable for dental use.

Pros: - Cheap - Clean - It's and looks exactly like a dentists' one - Great quality. (not plastic) - Pretty strong. It's not like you feel it will break in 2 parts. - Two differents ends - It doesn't magnetize

Other: I haven't bought it for dental use, just for repairing a couple of things and DIY project. I don't regret about buying it.

Pros: solid material, great for dental hygiene, you can use it for several purposes, great price

Cons: very sharp, need to be carefull and keep away from kids, comes with small plastic covers on the ends, not very helpful

Other: Buy it. You don't have to go to the dentist to get rid of the plaque - if you aren't a complete moron. Yes, you can damage your gums if you aren't careful, but that's your fault and not the manufacturers. Don't let your kids use it! It's sharp!

Pros: Just like the tool used at the dentist! I use this daily to get to those hard to reach places, especially because i have retainers, to remove unwanted food and plaque from my teeth. This tool is sharp, slim, and easy to use. If you are a freak about keeping your teeth clean and healthy this is a must.

Cons: No cons so far. I would always advise taking it easy on your teeth and gums because this tool is sharp and can cut your tongue! And ALWAYS clean this tool before and after you use it.

Other: Great tool for the overall price, you cannot beat the quality. You will use this tool a lot and keep your teeth nice and clean
