Sync and Charging Docking Station + USB Data/Charging Cable for iPhone 3G/3GS (Black)

Pros: The design is neat and functional. It is pretty much what you expect. At the bottom there is a anti slip layer which does the trick.

Cons: We it does not charge the Iphone 3GS with the 3.1.3 firmware. The part is not supported. Also the cable is loose on the USB end, but some glue will fix this.

Other: The art is functional and would do the trick except for the fact that is is no lner supported by Apple. I do not think it is the fault of the manuacturer but a new trick of Apple to make us pay extra by having to buy official parts

Pros: Black is looking great with my black iPhone 3G

Cons: It doesn't have as much weight added as the orignal Apple. It will stay on your desk without any problem, but a little bit extra weight would be nice. The USB cable that came with it is working a bit strange (see "Other thoughts" for explanation about this)

Other: Great price, but that item on the USB cable should be looked at, and the extra added weight on the dock would be nice

Pros: - Looks great, well made - It's cheap - It works out of the box on my laptop.

Cons: - doesn't work well on my home pc with itunes, after a few minutes of use on my home pc, my iphone complains that the dock and the usb cable aren't official apple products and stops charging. But luckily this problem doesn't seem to occur if I close itunes after sync. - The 3.5mm jack is too closely placed to the iphone connector in the cradle, making it impossible to fit my high quality 3.5mm jack to rca cable. This isn't really a big problem because most people would use a normal cable, since the iphone sounds crappy, a good cable doesn't improve that.

Other: Apart from the minor issue with itunes on my home pc, this is a great product for a good price. I would definitely recommend it.

Pros: It works. Transfers data Charges Cable seems same level of quality or better than original OEM cables Has enough weight to not tip over

Cons: Coupler to stand didn't set easily at first and still has a gap like it is not set(connection is made and is secure enough) Coupler to the stand seems upside down since the marking on the coupler is down towards the desk I wish the cord was shorter(small desk), but I can always get a cord reel device.

Other: Good product and probably 1/10th of Apple's price.

Pros: this is really cheap you can buy this at wal-mart for 30 bucks the base of this gadget is nice an sturdy wich is waht you expect for a docking station I have owned many docking stations and this one is by far my favorite it has a really nice color that fits the iphone 3gs to perfection

Cons: none really I have owned this wonderfull gadget for nearly a month and I use it each and every single day and so far I have had no real problems with it

Other: don't buy one, buy five !

Pros: This is a nice docking station that would cost really expensive in other places. If you own a black iPhone then this is a must get!

Cons: The docking station is not very heavy, it can hold an iPhone but it doesn't feel sturdy enogh. I wish they could add just a little bit of sand inside it to make it heavier and feel like the original dock.
Also I have to remove my iPhone case otherwise it won't fit on the dock.

Other: For the price it is a must have.

Pros: Works Great, Able to sync with itunes no problems, and charges. The cable also has great build. iPhone fits perfectly. I don't use a case so I have no problems.
I don't find too much problem with the weight of the dock like most people have mentioned, it's just right.

Cons: The line out at the back for headphones works, but you cannot adjust the volume so it's at maximum volume if you plug in headphones. I suppose it could be plugged into a stereo from there and lower the volume then.
I think the charging time is a slightly longer compared to the standard provided usb cord.

Other: Get one.. or two.

Pros: Looks nice. Matches the color of 3GS iPhone. Works most of the time, I guess.

Cons: Bad contact. Low-power charging.
The phone is not always able to get good enough contact to actually be charged. If you put your iphone in this docking for the night, you may find it discharged and off the morning after.
If your running an application on the phone that demands much power, you may see that the phone actually discharges even when placed in this docking station.
A iPhone 3GS is an exact fit in this thing. If you use any case for your phone, you'll have to remove that before placing the phone in the doc.

Other: It kind of works and does the job most of the time. If that's good enough for you, it's worth the cheap price. It's good enough for me.

Has 3.5mm audio jack (may do video with right cable too I guess)
Works with iPhone 3G/3GS

Cons: A little lightweight so you need two hands to undock the phone (although without making it bigger not much can be done with this)

Other: Very good quality and build of both dock and cable for the price.
I would pay this price or more just for the cable.
Back here now to order an extra 4 to have them around the house for both myself and my wife.

Pros: Very cheap compared to originals from apple.
Perfectly fits my 3GS with no problem.
All operations work including charging & syncing with itunes.

Cons: The build quality of the cable that came in this combo set were not as good as iphone cables i bought separately (pretty stiff). However, they still do function with no problem at all.
Both the dock and the cable were bit tight to plug in at first but loosens after a while.

Other: The dock is perfect. The cable reasonable. I would purchase them separately next time but If you don't care about cable quality then go ahead, you won't regret it.
