Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: seperate sections for ease of 1 aaa or 2 aaa battery use, Slim, has a nice but removable clip, very good quality construction, switch feels good enough
Cons: not quite as bright as I expected, a little bulky and heavy
Other: If you need an easy to carry light for semi up close range, buy it -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Very tiny
- Very bright
- Very good floody and smooth beam
- Lightweight
- Professional design
- Good quality
- Glass lense
- Alu smooth reflector
- Can take all type of AAA fromfactor batteries
- Great runtime with two NiMH
Cons: - Forward, metal and hard cliky
- O-rings only on body
- Not too cheap (vs tk-701)
Other: A little bit expensive vs Tank007 TK-701, the same head and body, tailcap whit clip instead of ratchet and extension tube for 5 bucks...

Pros: One of the best AAA lights on DX. 1. Well made 2. Small 3. Very nice on-off tail click (rare in single AAA battery flashlights) 4. Is almost as bright on single AAA as it is on 2 AAA (this is AWESOME - because the second battery is giving you longetivity, and the regulator is doing its job).
Cons: I've tested it with 2 AAA, and it's not 170 lumens (but that's true for all lumen ratings on DX) - I have a Fenix L1D (rated 120lumen), and this one is slightly less bright. I'd estimate about 100 lumen
Other: Super duper... Get it. This is one of the better made lights on DX. This little guy is machined as well as a Fenix light. I'm impressed. The on/off clickie is a pure joy to use.

Pros: For a pen sized light, it's really bight - but sure not 170 lumens (maybe with a LiIon rechageable - but they are just ordered). Very handy and all workday in my shirt pocket, next to the ballpen. I reduced the light to 1 AAA (1 AAA size tube can just be unscrewed). There's just a small reduction in light output with 1 * 1.5 Volt primary.
Cons: Over all the build quality looks good. Maybe I only had bad luck: When fully tigthened, the light goes out. The problem was a too high solder spot to hold the contact spring on the regulator which then pressed the regulater away from the contact surface. Some work with a drill was needed to shorten it a bit.
Other: Without the error, I had to fix first, it would be a great light. Compared to others on DX, it could be a bit cheaper.

Pros: * Can use 2xAAA, 1xAAA, or 1x10440.
* Clip is secure, and removable.
* Decent brightness.
* Good knurling and finish.
* Very pocketable.
* Can tailstand.
Cons: * Current regulation is a bit low...I'd rather see more light with a smaller runtime. Even with that, the current is a bit higher than rated...I measured 530mA at the tailcap.
* Light really needs a 10440 to shine (no pun intended).
Other: Good for everyday carry, even for someone who's not a flashlight addict.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - tough body
- metal clip
- slim & light
- cheap
- adequate illumination
- awesome modular design (single or double AAA)
Cons: - battery loading system is wierd
(spring is in the front, at the head of the light, but the cells are still put in the usual manner, ie. + side of the cell goes in first)
- clicky switch can be a little unresponsive (in my experience common among budget lights)
Other: Be careful when inserting the cells. If you do it wrong you won't fry it (at least I didn't) but it won't light up and will start heating up.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Goodness build. Aluminum body, real aluminum reflector and mineral glass. Water proof. Spring on plus contact. Metal button. Hard anodized coated. Extended tube for second cell.
Clip. Small size.
Universal power supply (1 or 2 AAA batteries).
Cons: No spring on minus contact – light can twinkle. Soft and unreliable clip. High release of the stray heat with 2 batteries. Very wide hotspot (or narrow filling). Flashlight not have rated 170 lumens (80…100 lumens in comparison with other flashlights).
Other: This flashlight is a good gift (for woman is red shine case).
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: 1 AAA or 2 AAA or 1 LiO 10440 You pick your battery type this light will do it. Great build quality. Great finish (hope it holds up). First class knurling. Great strong penclip.
Cons: THe pen clip is going to wear the finish. Its a great clip but it puts a lot of pressure on the body so when you take it apart the clip will wear the finish.
Other: I nice variably configuration light. I have a 703 (single cell light) so this one will be used mainly in the 2 cell layout.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Very bright - Small and about the size of a pen, easy to clip on your shirt - Good battery life - Strong build. Already 1 year old, still functioning flawlessly
Cons: - Too bright than I expected. I was actually looking for a pen torch to exam pupillary reflexes but this one is just too bright to shine into patient eyes - The price was a bit over my expectation
Other: Buy it and bring it around. You may need it sometime somewhere somehow.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Is quite short to be 2xAAA, others 2xAAA may be longer You can run it with 2xAAA NiMh or alcaline, 1AAA even NiMH, or 1x10450 LiIon or LiFePo4. Is quite difficult not to found at least one battery for this. With only 1 battery is really short. SSC led appears to be as bright as one R5 whith the same configuration (2xAAA) I have Clips is usefull
Cons: Finish is quite rough, but nothin specially bad. A hole for a strap it would be good. Threads ar dry, a bit of grease would be good
Other: I like it.
