TANK007 TK-703 HA-III Cree Q3-WC 110-Lumen LED Flashlight - Red (1*AAA/1*10440)

Pros: Beautiful finish. Great for guys or girls. Doesn't have that generic look - brand name quality. Individual serial numbers. Excellent surface texture for gripping its tiny body. 10440 cells or AAA But much brighter with 10440. Small enough to fit on your keychain. And BRIGHT ! I don't know what the runtime is, but it produces an amazing amount of light for such a small device. Can tail stand. A perfect gift and the ideal realistic EDC torch. When I say realistic, I mean its something you really could carry all day every day and not look like some paramilitary nut.

Cons: The little hole at the end for threading the lanyard is so small. THe tail clicky is so close to the hole. Impossible I think to thread a split ring through there, and I fear the supplied lanyard will break if used in a keychain. Any suggestions for securely fastening these little torches to a key chains ? I'm thinking of trying "Twist and Melt Trace Wire".

Other: I loved it as soon as I saw it on DX and its arrival did not disappoint. Bought 3 and immediately ordered another 5. These will make brilliant (pun intended) Xmas presents.

Pros: This is a really good flashlight if you are looking for something small to carry around!!
I like flashlights that have a strong beam and I won't say that this one is the best, but for its size and using just aone AAA battery...I think it is great!!!

Cons: Well...the only think I can think of is the price....It is a little bit expensive for a flashlight this small. DX should be able to lower the price a bit!!!

Other: It is a great flashlight to have in your pocket!!! You will not notice it is there but will remember that is there when you need a light.

Pros: This is my favorite EDC (every day carry) light by far. I don't notice it in a pants pocket any more than a chapstick. They put out lot's of white light that you can easily hold in your mouth. It sure helps compensate for old eyes! It might be too much light for some people to say poke around in a computer. But it's perfect for me. I've been carrying it in a pocket with keys for a couple of months -- no scratches in the finish.

Cons: None on the 3 that worked.

Other: I really like these lights. Just a little better quality control and they would be perfect! DX customer service was very good on the replacement.

Pros: Bought this flashlight for my 5-year daughter. She wanted "small and red" and it fits perfectly. Very bright for its size even with NiMh AAA. Even brighter with 10440, driver is good. Consumes 1.5A from AAA so it is not long, i think less then half-hour. Becames warm quickly but not too hot. Has a wide bright throw, flood is 25% narrower than with "large" flashlights. Build quality is good, tailcap is made not from silicone but from aluminum.

Cons: - mine came with smooth reflector. this makes flood bit more ringy. - sometimes it loses contact when tailcap screwed too tight, just unscrew a bit.

Other: Excellent 1xAAA flashlight. If you want small and bright - go get it.

Pros: -Bargin price -very nice knurling -very nice anodising -bright hot spot -nice throw -reverse clicky (clickies are hard to find in AAA lights) -non-tacky metal clicky (bright orange/GITD green/GITD orange is tacky on something this small, but matching red metal is beautiful)

Cons: -I would love a low mode for extended runtime -forward clicky would be nice (am I being greedy?)

Other: I would definitely recommend this little wonder, and will be buying more in the future.

Pros: - Very light & small, can be put into pocket or purse.
- Build quality is better than other budget lights.
- LED is very well centered.
- Throw is a little wider than in most other small flashlights, so great for indoor use.

Cons: - Very inefficient. Draws 2A from a small AAA battery while giving output similar to Trustfire XP-E F23 (sku.24291) with only 0,8A
- Very difficult to open in case you want to mod it.
- Short runtime on alkaline or NiMh AAA, approx. 25 min.
- Beam artifacts, visible brighter and darker circles around the main throw.

Other: Buy it if you intend to carry spare batteries with you.

Pros: I was amazed at the build quality of this small flashlight. Perfect in almost every way. There are no dirty threads like other flashlights I've gotten before, everything fits perfectly. Comes in retail box. Amazingly bright for a flashlight this small! Using 10440 batteries will make this blindingly bright. AAA batteries will produce bright and useable light.

Cons: Heats up very quickly when using 10440 batteries. Takes a little under a minute before it starts getting warm to the touch. Probably best for AAA nimh use only.

Other: amazing AAA flashlight! Get it!

Pros: Small enough to keep in your pocket comfortable. Nice red anodized finish makes the small light easy to spot if dropped or misplaced. Clicky switch operates smoothly with a solid feel. Knurling is aggressive but cleanly done. My friends are impressed with the light output as am I.

Other: Buy one or two. The wife or girlfriend will like one as well as its easy to spot in her junk filled purse but cheep enough that you wont cry when she loses it.

Pros: Very nicely executed design of the lantern. Nice to touch, no slides. Very bright light, as bright as tacos UniqueFire S10 (used Ni-Mh).

Cons: Current about 1.5 A. If you use AAA NiMh, the lifetime will be no more than 30-40 minutes. This is a fee for high brightness, nothing can be done.

Other: Worth the money.

Pros: Very small flashlight A lot of light for such a small light! Really amazing! Easy to hold in your pocket or to connect to your keys.

Cons: When you use the light more than a few minutes it gets warm. Because of the amount of light, the one AAA battery won't work very long.

Other: Good buy! Use it as a gift, in your car, walking the dog or at vacation.
