TFT LCD Replacement Module for NDS Lite (Lower Screen)

Pros: Nice looking replacement screen for the DS Lite. Don't notice it being any different than the original once installed.

Cons: Somehow, the little red arrow for the peel off screen protection sticker got transfered on to the screen side and required some cleaning to get off. I'm hoping this was a fluke that only happened with mine, but no major harm done. Just an annoyance.

Other: If you have a broken bottom screen on your DS Lite, this is a very affordable way to get it up and running again.

Pros: good quality screens no dead pixels

Cons: ribbon cable is weak

Pros: As you all know.. scratching your ds screen with our without a screen protector is pretty common with games like jump! or agent.. but instead of returning it to nintendo for a 70-90 US fee you could repair it yourself or if you're out of warranty in the first place. From what i've seen so far... it looks exactly like the original

Cons: NOT easy to install.. nothing wrong with the product, but its obvious nintendo doesn't want anyone fiddling around with the inner workings

Other: Retail price in my country is 70 USD no joke.. this site: 15 dollars.. :)

Use it if you're out of warranty or not willing to pay nintendo money for a new tft repair.

Pros: Cheap, works pretty good.

Cons: Does not come with insulation on the back panel. The metal casing will short the circuitry on your NDS Lite unless you insulate it. Tape on the back panel is sufficient.

Other: Good cheap screen, but watch out for lack of insulation. Hopefully replacement will be more durable and of higher quality

Pros: - Flat cable is the same size as original, easy match.
- Seems to have the same response time as original

Cons: - The screen color seems all yellowish in comparison with my original bottom screen.
- Back face isn't insulated.

Other: The wasn't any major problem, the yellowish colors are a minor one if compared to my broken original screen. My unit doesn't have any defective pixels at all, even after 1 month playing Ninja Gaiden DS and The World Ends With You (that has massive use of touch screen).

Pros: - Price is good, very affordable to swap a damaged screen.
- Have bought a top lcd screen which had dead pixels, but this bottom lcd does not suffer from any.

Cons: - The screen i received seemed to be used or returned by another customer. There were scratches on the screen even with the protective sticker. And the back of the screen had some of the insulation pads torn.

Other: Only get it if you need to.

Pros: The LCD screen is cheap, allot cheaper than me buying it from another source else where. When I recieved mine it came with a bonus dead pixel but I am not complaining coz the bottom LCD display works. Hey its all in the luck of the draw. When I get a working one with out the dead pixels then I will go and play lotto. It is built almost the same as the original screens and the great thing about this product is that it fits perfectly fine.

Cons: There is no insulation on the back of the screen. Without the insulation you can blow a fuse. I know coz I did. It can't be installed in a DS phat! Otherwise there are no cons unless you get one DOA which is highly unlikely.

Other: YAY mine came with a free bonus dead pixel but it is not like everyone will get a dead pixel anyway. Do not get confused with this item as it is only for DS Lite. You have to be metally challenged not to know how to install it. It is like playing with lego. If you have nothing to loose then install it DIY style.

Pros: This was easy to replace with the help of youtube information. My NDS works great now!! It had been dropped and the bottom screen cracked so the picture was crackly. Be sure to choose the right screen as there are two bottom screens; a touch screen and this screen.

Cons: I don't have any as once replace my screen now works!

Other: Makes your NDS usable again!

Pros: Cheap replacement LCD for DS Lite. Colour is good - as good as the original was. No yellowing. No dead pixels at all. This one came with insulation on the metal back of the screen, unlike some other reviewers mentioned.

Cons: It's slightly dimmer than the original LCD, but it's barely noticeable when playing. Difficult to install, since you need to juggle some small parts and attach the touch screen (which was a pain to peel off of the original LCD).

Other: Worth every penny.

Pros: It works great! No problems, almost.
Easy to install. Took 30 mins. Shipping to west coast US was 13 days. Super good price, and even cheaper now! This one had no dead pixles and was insulated. YAY I didn't have to put tape on the back!

Cons: Had some slight scratches on it, wasn't protected with plastic like the touch screen was. But it was wrapped in bubble wrap and in a box when shipped.

Other: Super good price, now a buck cheaper than I payed. Shipping was 13 days. Had a few barely noticeable scrathes and no protection film when shipped.
