Three-Wire System Wall Mount Automatic Inductive Switch (180~240V)

Pros: Works perfectly. I placed in the hall with on both sides a door with glass in it. But it doesn't turn on the light before you opened the door. It doesn't 'see' you standing before the glass. So it is really perfect. Not to sensitive but just right.

Cons: It doesn't fit in a normal round pvc wall box. I am now looking for one where it will fit in.
You should say normaly you could replace the light switch with this one.. But it is a little larger. :(

Other: If I have it fit in the wall I am buying another one for the toilet and maybe even one for the barn.

Pros: I was hoping to use this in my utility room which has no windows, so artificial light is a necessity. Went to the trouble of replacing my energy efficient CFL bulb with an incandescent one, removing my old switch and replacing with this automatic one, but could not get it to work! The fact that the instructions are in Chineese is not a help, but looked up the correct wiring on the DX forum, still no luck, have given up trying, replaced my CFL and switch and conceeded defeat :-(

Cons: Chineese instructions, not sure if I did something wrong or I have a faulty unit.

Other: I'd leave this one folks and buy one in your local store, at least you will be able to understand the instructions.

Pros: This thing just works, as long as you understand how you need to connect it. In case you find trouble in understanding the Chinese instructions and diagram, when seen from the back with the terminals on top, it should be connected as follows: Left - Load (to the lamp's live terminal) Centre - Live (supply) Right - Neutral One thing I like about these is that they do not use relay switches, so you don't hear clicks every time you pass by, and so there are also no mechanical points of failure. However, although no relays are used, the supply to the lamps is clean, and inductive loads work just fine. I have tried CFLs and LED bulbs, and they work without any flickering or strange behaviour

Cons: - Instructions are in Chinese only (although they're not really needed as long as you know how to wire it - The frame of the box has a Chinese logo. It's barely visible, but it's something that isn't really appreciated internationally. - A neutral wire is required, so if you're using this to replace a wall switch, you will need to redo some wiring. This is not a problem of this model, however. There is just no way to get a clean working inductive load (energy savers) without having a clean neutral supply.

Other: Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The price isn't too high, and they just work for me. I used these in a frequently used passage where everyone is normally too much in a hurry to bother switching the lights on. This helped me making home a safer place.

Pros: Great product with a small price. It does what it should do.

Cons: Unfortunately, my chinese is not that good, so the instructions were not clear. Although, google will help if you are not familiar with electronics.
It was hard to find the correct box to mount the sensor. We use round boxes for mounting electronic parts. But I collected some G-boxes in the UK. These do match the square and helps to mount the sensor

Other: cheap, but be aware of mounting problems because of the square shape

Pros: i needed an auto switch for my front door light, and this thing works wonderfully! it spots people when the enter the corridor to my door - about two meters. it's ability to sense when there's light and not activate the light is great for saving power.

Cons: the instructions on the back are only in Chinese - but you have them in one of the reviews. it's ment to be used in-wall, so it doesn't look too elegant mounted on the wall. you have to improvise to mount it on the wall.

Other: great value! reliable and cheap

Pros: Easy to use, cheap. Great when it worked. Used it continuously for several months.

Cons: Not that reliable. Cracked open the case and found the PIR controller to be faulty.

Other: nice product but needs to be more reliable

Pros: - cheap - easy to wire - big angle, about 160° - high sensitivity - includes also an english manual

Cons: - i did mount it in a square wallbox, there used to be 2 switches but i replaced the one below, i did shortcut the electricity while mounting it back because the 3 screws on top touch the iron switch above - back of the switch takes just a bit more place then is should in the wallbox - the switch is mounted with screws to the wallbox and not with clamps, had to take the clamps from the previous switch

Other: took me 30min to get it nice on place but it works like i expected it to do, good product!
