TNI-U TU-091A 60W Constant Temperature Soldering Iron - Green (AC 220V / US Plug)

Pros: Very stable temperature. The tip is resistant to the erosion like cooper tips. The normal soldering irons have a very high temperature, that make the tin/lead solder material will degrade.

Cons: This device not have a earth terminal in the AC plug, but have a alligator clamp to fetch it to the earth in your working table. The temperature dial does not match with the body and bends.

Other: In the first few turns the heather make a horrible smoke irritates the eyes, but after half an hour the smoke disappear.

Pros: Almost the same as SKU: 25655 (i've got both), but slightly better and cheaper. Has real temperature feedback with thermocouple. Temp. regulation is more precise than SKU: 25655. Has temp. scale which is more convenient rather than just 3 divisions on the handle of SKU: 25655. With the lowest temp. melts well thermo glue, with the highest temp. you can solder massive parts. Tip changing is very simple. Tips SKU: 23446 fit it perfectly. I recomend to buy them also. The power supply cable is softer. The handle fits in my hand very well.

Cons: US plug with 220V iron - strange... Small cons. Just buy SKU: 33884 or replace the plug. The grounding wire is disturbing while soldering. Also very small cons. I've just cut it out and connect when necessary only.

Other: Very good soldering iron. I'm quite happy with it. Already bought for my son and friend.
