Pros: This is a tiny light, hardly larger than most which do not have adjustable spot. For size, it is a winner. For the beam quality it is a winner too! The wide beam covers evenly and at a really impressive brightness (even using RECHARGEABLE AA NiMh at 1.2volt! - Which is ALL I USE - Sorry if you wanted to know about if the driver can handle a 3v!)
When it is "spot focused" it will project a PERFECT pattern of the actual LED element (which is a square type shape) onto a wall across a very large room with detail. It is not a twisty focus, it is a SLIDER. There is a confirmed o-ring seal in the slider mechanism (good design, but the 0-ring is "weak"- still seals okay though.) And the button is on the "butt end". It does not heat up too much in the testing I have done, and it easy to hold. It comes with a lanyard too.
Cons: The switch is cheapy feeling, although I think it will be okay and I have had no problems out of it- it just feels cheap when you click it. And it also "sticks out past the rear" of the light, making it possible to turn it on when carrying it.
Other: I think if any other country could make such a light for the price, they would have already taken over the world!

Pros: 1. Very bright (don't point it in the eyes =));
2. Very good build quality - thrower don't look cheap, the body and lens crafted perfectly;
3. Floating focus is VERY convenient.
Cons: 1. Battery don't last long - you'll have only 50-60 minutes of good brightness;
2. Heat spreading is poor. After 15 minutes of use light becomes hot, though you still can hold it in your arms;
3. The price could be lower.
Other: Good light, but remember to take some extra AA-bateries if you go for a walk in the night =)

Pros: Well made. This light is solid and all of the threads are tidy. O-rings on all of the joins. I have no issues with the switch. Small, easily fits in your pocket. Bright, heaps bright enough for general use and with the zoom you can see a long way at night.
Cons: No cons, this does everything that I could reasonably want.
Other: Great torch. Really bright and focusable. Takes AA batteries. What more could you want?? 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters, 500 characters. There, that should do it.

Pros: This torch is unbelievable, especially in spot mode. It will focus the beam so tight that when shone on a wall, even around 20m away, it shows the very defined profile of the LED emitter. It is very bright. I bought this to fit onto my rabbit hnting rifle and it works fantastically. All of this from just 1xAA battery too!
Cons: none
Other: good value and small enough to carry everywhere. buy it

Pros: 5X brighter than 9 LED flashlight in flood mode. Spot mode is useful up to 70 ft and perhaps farther depending on how good your eye sight is. At that distance the spot is about 4 ft in diameter. I like the size and the AA battery. Zooming head is quick. I can maneuver it with one hand in a flash unlike twist-type zooming heads.
Cons: I was thinking initially that the switch should've been flushed with the tail and a little wider. There's no easy way of replacing the LED. A plastic ring is pressed against the tube to keep the module in place. The same deal with the tail switch.
Other: Better looking than the X2000 lights and faster zooming than Romisen's.

Pros: It took me a while to break down and do this, but I have a Q5 and P7 emitter on the way so I decided it was time to try a 14500(3.7 volt) battery in here. The LED should be able to handle it, but this light is digitally regulated so I didn't know if the light could handle it. IT WORKED! The light gets warm after 3 minutes of use so the heatsinking works O.K. The LED got a little bluer, but it is still whiter and warmer than my X2000 lights. The spot on this light is a little tighter than the X2000. With the 14500 in this light it is brighter than the X2000. I don't know run time yet, but after 30 minutes it is still going strong. I am hoping to get a Q5 in here. The flashlight actually comes apart pretty easily. I plan on taking the digital regulator out of this light and replacing the Q3 with a Q5. Then I should have a bright light. the head of this light screws off and reveals a block of aluminum which contains the regulator and LED. The block of aluminum screws out of the body. Take the black plastic ring off the top, then dig the flimsy metal piece off the LED and the LED star is loose. I plane on take the regulator ouat and soldering the wires directly from the Q5 LED to the battery connections on the block. Then I will have a direct driven Q5 focusable light, the way it should have been built in the beginning!
Cons: The plastic lense is pretty cheap looking. It is dirty and unclear. it tinges the LED very blue.
Other: This light is the smallest focusable light I have seen. It fits the AA and the LED and the lense and that is it. The X2000' seem to have so much wwasted space, although I do like the bigger head on the X2000's.

Pros: - Bright lamp for its size, and the beam is adjustable. - looks and feels a quality product -AA batteries, can be bought anywhere
Cons: When the beam is focuses to minimum the beam looks just like the led itself, but when you get the beam a bit bigger then its okay.
Other: Good lamp, small size, very bright light. Good lamp, small size, very bright light.

Pros: Great little light! Good build quality. AA battery. Very bright! I have a minimag and this light basically kills it. It comes with a useful strap. Nice textured body. Zooming works well with a tweak. All metal, switch too. Threads are clean. O-rings (not water-proof though) Flood is a bit narrow. Looks like 30 degrees. Throw is very tight maybe 2 degrees.
Cons: Looses about 30-40% of total brightness when in “throw” mode. Can’t tail stand. Can head stand (useless?) but don’t. There is maybe a half mm clearance between the lens and the table. Switch feels cheap, like a pen, but is metal. Didn’t work at first but now its fine. Guess you need to break it in. Not water-proof. (Lens isn’t sealed well) Sucks 1.3-1.4 amps from the battery.
Other: Great cheap light! The perfect replacement for you minimag! Uses AA battery, and zooms. Looks easy to mod. Get one!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -It's bright at an usable level.
-Flood-to-throw
-nice finish
-small enough for "edc"
-runs on 1AA-Cell, Alkaline or NiMH
-on highest zoom you can see an emitter pattern on the wall
Cons: -not perfectly anodized/coloured (slightly, doesn't matter any)
-Clicky is not that good and is easy switched on in your pocket.
-gets a little warm after a while, but not dramatically
Other: One of the best here. I really like it and it's usable like just very few.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Battery handling very simple (single AA) Compact size, fits nicely into one hand Flood-to-throw makes this a versatile light. Even though only operated by one AA cell, throw is quite good. Tail cap diameter is not larger than body diameter - that way can the light be slipped easily into misc. types of mounts and head straps. Potentially modding friendly head. Haven't managed to open tail switch yet. Could be pressed in. Driver appears to be 4.2 Volt tolerant, switching to direct drive, and allowing alternating use with 1.2 V NiMH without breaking.
Cons: Head movement is a bit scratchy - this can be improved by replacing the steel wire ring against a thin silicone o-ring. Alternatively, tape a layer of kapton tape inside the head, so that the steel ring moves on the tape, rather than on aluminium. My plastic lense protrudes ever so slightly - it is prone to scratch eventually. Tail switch feels cheap, and does not seem to be waterproof, but appears that it can be machined to take a rubber tailcap. In original state, only a plastic pin sticks out. I haven't managed to open tail switch yet - it could be pressed in. "Reflector" needed some work: central hole was smaller than LED, and was therefore bent outwards with the lense mounted. Lanyard breaks easily - a small wire key ring (8-10 mm) between lamp and lanyard solves that.
Other: Good light, benefitting from its compact size in conjunction with its good flexibility from choosing light pattern through its zoom feature. Light (as in: low mass) enough to keep in your pocket - you might want to put some protective cover over the head when carrying it in the same pocket as, say, your keys, or your nuts-and-bolts collection.
