TOSLINK Digital Audio Optical Cable (1M-Length)

Pros: Not sure how you can go wrong with a few pieces of fancy plastic. Maybe we can go wrong by getting suckered into paying around 20 bucks for a cable just like this. These things are marketed in the US asdigital high quality blah blah blah, but in reality one is as good as any other brand.

Cons: Could be packaged better. 500 characters....Yea... Well let me tell you about my cat. She is young and likes to chase her tail. Her other favorite things to do are bite my toes in the morning and hide my cigarettes.

Other: Its cheap, it works and I feel like an idiot for paying 15 bucks for the same thing at radioshaq every time I lost or broke one of these.

Pros: It has an awesome price tag, feels of good quality build and works like a charm. Bought it to use with my Mac Book Pro because it is short (1m) and small. I have another optical cable at home which is "premium" but it's thick and quite bulky.

Cons: nothing that I could find. Have not failed me and I foresee it wouldn't unless I cut it into half.

Other: Portable, no nonsense optical TOSlink to TOSlink

Pros: It works and if you are an amateur you won't notice any difference. I myself am using it between my XBOX360 and my AV receiver, which is of high quality and the sound is excellent.

Cons: It has a weak feel. The cable is a lot thinner than the larger 'real' ones you buy in stores, so they look like the quality is low. Also this can cause problems when they snap. They must always have a smooth bend for the light to pass.

Other: Very useful although I will eventually buy ones of better quality, they just feel too shabby because they are too thin.

Pros: An unbelievably cheap 1m Toslink cable that works perfectly! The ends are capped in an easily removed plastic cap to protect until required for use.

Cons: This toslink cable is very thin, and would be susceptible to bends or kinks if mishandled - most likely rendering unusable. If you were to push your AV equipment back you could quite easily damage it. Otherwise, the Toslink ends are made of a hard plastic and fit perfectly in my equipment inputs. I bought this cable for equipement that is permanently in place.

Other: DealExtreme yet again offer an unbelievably cheap cable the works perfectly. Why spend silly amounts for an equivalent length cable elsewhere?

Pros: The price is great! Much much cheaper than I could get it anywhere. Does the job quite well for what I use it for. Conenctor is quite firm and clicks with a satisfying sound and firmness.

Cons: It is to a certain extent, you get what you pay for. It isn't that long, and it looks like ti can break easily. However, if your use is static and you don't move things around or change things around too often, this works great.

Other: You get what you pay for, but do you really need that really expensive optical cable for most of your applications? Remember, it's digital! doesn't really matter what cable you get as long as it hooks up.

Pros: does exactly what it needs to do, I am not a very tech savvy person but i love using high tech music components, currently using this cable to transmit audio from my TV to my component system, connect and functionality is very good.

Cons: build quality seems like its a bit sensitive but once you plug it it in you wouldnt probably need to worry about

Other: Get it if you need a cheap but effective optical cable, however, if your components are too far away then you are better off not getting this product

Pros: Cheap but works well! How can you go wrong? it's digital! I.e. the signal is just as good as an expensive cable. The connectors at the end make a satisfying clip noise.

Cons: A bit short, and the build quality is low, but for the price can you complain?

Other: Very cheap, and works as well as the more expensive cables! Can't go wrong!

Pros: It's simply efective. It just works as another Optical that you could buy at a local store, but a lot cheaper here.
I've this on a Dvd an two others (3 metters, also buyed on DX) on a Xbox and a Tv box. All three goes to my Av receiver and all three work great.

Cons: Just the aspect. If you look to it you have the feelling that this is a cheap cable (and it is), but you really don't believe that this cable gone to works. But it works like another expensive cable!

Other: Great cable for an even great price!

Pros: I use 2 of these cables, one for my TV and another for PS3 that have worked flawlessly for the last few months. For the price this is a very good cable

Cons: The cable is very thin but it doesn't seem to affect anything. I have not experienced any interference at all. The sound quality is perfect. The build quality could be better, but for this price I can't complain at all.

Other: A very good, cheap cable.

Pros: Like i said, if you need an optical cable to use with you audio equipment, this is just that and nothing else. Great price.
I am using it plus sku.30585 tu use mi xbox 360 and my sony home theater.
Work perfect since the beggining

Cons: Like i said, is just an optical cable... ewith very little protection.
Feels realy fragile and is not adecuated if you are going to plug and unplug it regulary
